OJRovers Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 I really couldn't care less whether the Wigan fans fill the Darwen end or come in a taxi as long as we get the 3 points! 395142 My thoughts exactly... Plus does anyone else think that Lawro is just predicting rovers bad results for a laugh now? It seems too many times where he makes baffling predictions about us (and Bolton). Its amazing. Supprised he hasnt jumped on the Rovers bandwagon again.

blue/white Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 i read reports lastnight that rovers old boy david thompson has recovered from his knee injury and is pushing for a place in the wigan first 11. i don't know if these will play but there a few other ex rovers on wigans books: filan henchoz I was just thinking how wonderful it'll be to see Stephane huffing and puffing as Bells waltzs circles around him. I hope our home support will trigger a nice, wide-open Rovers victory. 3-2 Rovers will do for me.
BRFC4EVA Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 According to a wiganer on the footiemad message boards, they have sold around 3,200 tickets by last night. Dont know if he is bsing or what really
Dan Furness Posted April 1, 2006 Posted April 1, 2006 Its gonna kick off in town centre Monday afternoon
Manchester Blue Posted April 1, 2006 Posted April 1, 2006 Its gonna kick off in town centre Monday afternoon 395339 That's not fair, I can't get up to Blackburn that early, any idea why it's been moved from 8 o clock, and why the town centre now?
Dan Furness Posted April 1, 2006 Posted April 1, 2006 That's not fair, I can't get up to Blackburn that early, any idea why it's been moved from 8 o clock, and why the town centre now? 395340 No I meant apparently fair few pie eaters are out to make a name for themselves

theresonly1alj Posted April 1, 2006 Posted April 1, 2006 Tottenham lost, but Arsenal are looking very strong at the moment. They do have quite a few matches left. I hope we can keep up the good form.
pick32 Posted April 1, 2006 Posted April 1, 2006 arsenal play united next. i hope united win because totenham lost think we will slip up 3-0 wigan
philipl Posted April 1, 2006 Posted April 1, 2006 They are all massive games now but boy are we going to kick ourselves if we don't draw level on points with Spuds on Monday night.
Paul Posted April 1, 2006 Posted April 1, 2006 Other than Newcastle scoring ten the results couldn't have been better today. The onus is now very firmly on the team to beat Wigan and put us seven points clear of Bolton, which surely must be the first realistic target - securing sixth spot. Then if we manage to kick on to 4th or 5th so much the better. Winning on Monday should make sixth spot a straight battle between us and Notlob.
Hughesy Posted April 1, 2006 Posted April 1, 2006 MASSIVE GAME on monday night, after todays results. 3-1 Rovers - Bellamy 2 Pedersen 1
Ewood Spark Posted April 1, 2006 Posted April 1, 2006 I had a works do at Cathedral last week! 395434 Are you a member of the clergy?
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted April 2, 2006 Posted April 2, 2006 (edited) This weekend's result's have firmly put the ball into our court now,Monday's game now takes on MASSIVE proportions. Regardless of whether the game is on sky or not lets hope the Blackburn public are up for this and come out in force......these really are exciting times for the club again! CALLING ALL ROVERS FANS - HUGHES Edited April 2, 2006 by SIMON GARNERS 194
philipl Posted April 2, 2006 Posted April 2, 2006 Another reason for so badly needing three points from this game is that Bolton play one of their games in hand by going away to Brum on Tuesday night.
roverich Posted April 2, 2006 Posted April 2, 2006 Given our current situation in the league this is probably our biggest game of the season so far (I expect I'll be saying that a lot though between now and the end) and I am very confident of our chances. The way we have played recently, I believe we are unstoppable and I can't wait to play Liverpool soon. I really think we will show Wigan that our previous meeting was no freak occurrence!
Dan Furness Posted April 2, 2006 Posted April 2, 2006 Can see it being a fairly open game, Wigan go about the game the right way. Roberts on his day can be a danger and Bullard has shown to be a good player. 2 - 0
Ozz Posted April 2, 2006 Posted April 2, 2006 An 8-0 win would take us into forth place. I say go for it Rovers.
roversWASmylife Posted April 2, 2006 Posted April 2, 2006 Nothing is impossible. Savage to get his first goal for Rovers I hope Whelan is asked where our free pies went
asianRover Posted April 2, 2006 Posted April 2, 2006 it'd be great if savage scores the winning goal. high time he scored. he deserves it
yellowsubmarine Posted April 2, 2006 Posted April 2, 2006 I will rather Savage keeps his winning goal for the game against Birmingham. Anyway, Wigan are pretty strong away, and Rovers are also strong at home. A possibly entertaining 3-2 win for Rovers.
tcj_jones Posted April 2, 2006 Posted April 2, 2006 Lose and I think we could just scrape sixth, but we will be out of the race for 5th. However, if we do lose, the pressure really, really is on us to perform. I think this is our biggest remaining game.
