Backroom Tom Posted May 27, 2009 Backroom Posted May 27, 2009 Yer it's memerizing at times, as an aside someone one here on Monday said Burnley are exceptional to watch, well what does that make Barca?

Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Xavi and Iniesta are dominating proceedings. When Barca have the ball, it's a pleasure to watch their passing and movement. It's just like watching Rovers.
1864roverite Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Its funny watching the supporters forlorn faces on sky sports news. Look ever so worried dont they ?
Backroom Tom Posted May 27, 2009 Backroom Posted May 27, 2009 Barca need to score when their on top or they will live to regret it
BRFC1995 Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 thought anderson looked quite comfortable first half, very strange to sub him carrick has looked nervous as hell a few times.....substitution has messed united right up barca killing it
RovertheHill Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Arrogance of the united fans beforehand has been breathtaking. Is Ronaldo on the pitch? Best player in the world? When has he ever dictated a game against TOP opposition in Europe? He needs to step up to the plate and prove it...
Backroom Tom Posted May 27, 2009 Backroom Posted May 27, 2009 Rooney has been shocking again up to now he has to step up in these big games. Ronaldo has done nothing but his usual trick of knock the ball ahead and jump into someone for a free kick and a few long shots. Iniesta is the star so far Could all change though Get in 2-0
Backroom Tom Posted May 27, 2009 Backroom Posted May 27, 2009 (edited) Wow should be 2-1 how did they not score then Ronaldo must be crying inside right now, been upstaged badly And now he spits his dummy out Edited May 27, 2009 by TCO
BRFC1995 Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 some manc on the radio earlier saying he turned down 3 grand for his ticket as the memories are priceless! SUCKER
chocky Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 The ref is showing a lot of common sense tonight and realises the meaning of the match...not bad for a Swiss ref...let a lot go and the match run smoothly..But that little prick Ronaldo may get himself sent off yet...
Backroom Tom Posted May 27, 2009 Backroom Posted May 27, 2009 Hopefully this could be the end of that annoying champions of england champions of europe song
BRFC1995 Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 be good business for united to bid 100m for gerrard, great wingers, great defence, decent strikers, very average in the middle
Backroom Tom Posted May 27, 2009 Backroom Posted May 27, 2009 (edited) Awful challenge by Scholes a leg breaker Edited May 27, 2009 by TCO
BRFC1995 Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 time to start going through the channels, this game is well over
Backroom Tom Posted May 27, 2009 Backroom Posted May 27, 2009 (edited) More like time to revel in the fact that United have been outclassed in every way. Good times Edited May 27, 2009 by TCO
chocky Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 He plays on the left he plays on the ri i ight our boy Messi Makes Man U look @#/?... Manchester United fans not chanting Argentina either...I wonder why...
sam_rovers Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 I hate how the media built the game up as Ronaldo vs Messi; it was far from it. Barca oozed class today and messi wasn't overly impressive. If anything Xavi and Iniesta were the better players on the day.
Backroom Tom Posted May 27, 2009 Backroom Posted May 27, 2009 Although Iniesta has been MOTM, messi has been world class he makes the game look so easy, phenomenal
philipl Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 RFW completely got that one wrong. Mancs were never at the races tonight. Certainly nowhere near the level of football played by Barca.
Backroom Tom Posted May 27, 2009 Backroom Posted May 27, 2009 At times Barca controlled the game at a walking pace, masterclass in passing and movement. Rooney again was shocking.
JAL Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Thank ferk for football that the worldsmost in debt team lost. And La Liga is the best league in Europe !
Rovermatt Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Absolutely made up to see the self-proclaimed best team in the world reduced to glum spectators. This goes someway to repairing a pretty dreadful season.
alexanders Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Brilliant game ! United were spectators, but am I the only one thinking that they (especially Ronaldo) behaved like scumbags at the end of the game? I would like to listen to Sir Alex's interview if someone did that against United.
