Alan75 Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 Despite taking the lead twice, through Craig Bellamy, this afternoon against Portsmouth, it was a disappointing result for Rovers as they dropped 2 valuable points in the chase for European Qualification. After the game Rovers manager Mark Hughes stated. "We are disappointed because we’ve lead the game twice away from home. We wanted the full three points so it may be viewed as two points lost." "Fratton Park is a difficult place to come, so it was a positive that we got our noses in front. "But it was a negative that we were not able to protect the lead and we feel hard done by that we didn't win. "Portsmouth are fighting for their lives in the Premiership and credit to them they put us under pressure and came from behind twice."
