i have read on the official site that they are taking votes on the supporters player of the season so i thought it was a well good idea to add it to our topics on here and maybe one of the mod's could make it into a poll like our goal of the season topic?

todd had the award last year but this season i think it will be close run thing.

It's got to be Reid for me he has improved so much this year

I dont think it's that straight forward! Lots of candidates...

Brad -back to his best this season.

Nelsen - Taken captain's armband with Todd out of the side and led by example.

MGP - Just because of the goals.

Bellamy - The most exciting player we've had since Duff & stands out a mile every game.

Reid - Improved a lot.

Tugay - Has been instrumental when he's played and we've been restricted when he's not.

I'd say they are the main ones but a lot of players have had good seasons - Lucas Neill & Savage too...

Personally I'd go for Bellamy - Doesnt matter what people say bout how well we did without him for a third of the season. We would be nowhere near where we are now with Dickov & Kuqi upfront. The guy is pure class - we've got to build the team around him if we are to progress...

Bellamy - even if he's missed a lot of games. He's made the difference between an ordinary season and a very good one. His ability to make goals out of seemingly improbable situations is priceless and I worry that he will want away.

He is priceless and can you really see him wanting away?

A pretty torrid time with managers has ruffled his features a few times and this season he seems to be very settled. With a likely place in the UEFA going and working under the manager who has always got the best out of him..... then he's staying!!!

surprised that Neill hasn't been mentioned so far.....probably his best season in a rovers shirt to date......but i'll still go for Nelson...with Bellamy a close second

Bellamy without a doubt. 17 goals is a big ask for any striker who is practically on his own up front.

He has been the best thing we have had since Shearer.

every player has contributed to an exceptional campaign (& it's still not over), but picking the best player is easy......................................................

Bellamy has looked like a player who should be in the Champions League and some of the goals Pedersen has scored makes them my top two with Nelsen very close behind. I think it would somehow seem more appropriate for one of our attacking players to get 'player of the season' because of how much our attack has improved over the season.

i've voted for pedersen, his assists and goals this season have been awsome and his overall contribution to the team has been top drawer.

i'll never forget my birthday at the theatre of nightmares where he destroyed the manky utd.

bellamy and nelson have been well good this season as has the the whole team in my opinion as they have really pulled together and played well under hughes but pedersen just wins it at the post for me

ive gone for neil with nelsen and bellamy close secounds i only choose neil over belamy because they have both been consistent but neil has played more games and i choose him over nelsen because neil has been good at going forward aswell as defending.
