Jordan Posted December 14, 2006 Posted December 14, 2006 You arent looking hard enough Jordan! Braga 32.96!! Levekusen 40.98!! Livorno 51.55!! I will give you my sources after I have booked them Mine were based on flights from Manchester. There are cheaper flights from London if you are wanting to travel down there first.
herbergeehh Posted December 14, 2006 Posted December 14, 2006 Livorno offers tough competition, a world class striker in Lucarelli and probably a fiery atmosphere. They play the Russian national song before kick-off, I take it Eddie's coming then? No Tel Aviv please.
Will Posted December 14, 2006 Posted December 14, 2006 (edited) Mine were based on flights from Manchester. There are cheaper flights from London if you are wanting to travel down there first. Mine are from all north west airports, keep on trying. Edited December 14, 2006 by Will
Ricky Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Stu, I've already told the Mrs that I'm going, also told her the date.' Grow a pair and tell her that you'll take her out when you get back
den Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Was in Livorno a couple of months ago. The dock area isn't very nice, but get cheap flights to Pisa, where you can get the train down to Livorno. Florence is within touching distance from Pisa as well.
Manchester Blue Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Go on, mention it as a Valentines Day treat! I've tried that tactic, without much success ;-) All depends when and where for me. Won't be doing Istanbul or Tel Aviv, wouldn't want to miss Leverkusen or Waregem.
Modi Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Its official. Im not going. Me neither, unless Waikiki United somehow slip into the draw.
Ricky Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Christian I'm in the same boat as you. They are the only two places that I won't go to. She's happy enough for me to go but she has said that if it's isreal or Turkey she is going to put her foot down. I suppose, Heaven Forbid, we could take them with us!!!
Moppy Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Are we definatly playing on the Wednesday. No chance of it being on the Thurdays or Tuesday?
Eddie Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 They play the Russian national song before kick-off, I take it Eddie's coming then? Wouldn't dream of missing it and I will be belting it out with the best of them. Won't go if it is Tel Aviv or Russia, but I'll try to make it to anywhere else, really hope I can get to a UEFA Cup away leg this year.
only2garners Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Are we definatly playing on the Wednesday. No chance of it being on the Thurdays or Tuesday? It's a 50/50 chance of being either Wednesday 14th or Thursday 15th.
Moppy Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 It's a 50/50 chance of being either Wednesday 14th or Thursday 15th. When do we find out? Need to know if I need to book Tues, Wed, Thurs off or Wed, Thurs, Fri
Eddie Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Should find out a little after the draw is made and the sides have sorted out the details. Possibly later today, but if not within the next couple of days.
Mr. E Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 I don't want Fenerbahche or Leverkusen, the others we can take with ease.
only2garners Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Should find out a little after the draw is made and the sides have sorted out the details. Possibly later today, but if not within the next couple of days. Just posted this on the other thread... I'm assuming that the draw will be split in two and half played on each day to maximise TV revenue. That's what happened this week when there were no Champions League matches. On that basis I would have thought that it would be part of the draw to define the day of play.
cn174 Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 One thing to take into consideration if we meet Lens... Lille are also sharing their ground for Champions League games, and I'm guessing that depending on how the draws pan out if there is a ground class Lille might take preference cos they're CL team.

cn174 Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 No Champions League games on the week we would be playing them so should be OK. Fair enough, I didn't check it, just heard it on ssn.
Will Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Fair enough, I didn't check it, just heard it on ssn. They're also in different towns !
cn174 Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 They're also in different towns ! Aye I know, but cos Lille don't have a big enough ground for the CL, they've been playing in Lens
Jordan Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Just checked the fixture list for the weekend after the away leg and there appears to be no Premier League games. Is this an FA Cup weekend?
AggyBlue Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 (edited) Just checked the fixture list for the weekend after the away leg and there appears to be no Premier League games. Is this an FA Cup weekend? Not for us, our FA cup run ends at Goodison Edited December 15, 2006 by AggyBlue
Will Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Aye I know, but cos Lille don't have a big enough ground for the CL, they've been playing in Lens They've drawn United. The last time they played each other it was at the Stade de France.
herbergeehh Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 (edited) Anyone getting the live video from uefa.com? Too many of you are logged on.. Good to see they are drawing both the last 32 and last 16 today, wasn't aware of that.. Edited December 15, 2006 by herbergeehh
