cn174 Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 I don't know if it has been mentioned before, but Nancy v Feyenoord is on Eurosport right now. Feyenoord must be desperate - they're playing van Hooijdonk!

Manchester Blue Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 They are battering Feyenoord at the moment. Can't believe the difference in Drenthe at the moment but I suppose he didn't have to cope with pace last week.
modes98 Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 (edited) Feyenoord may not have fans in europe soon, they have smashed down the protective glass and have been surrounded by cops and stewards! Nancy look like a good outfit. 2-0 Nancy, own goal Edited November 30, 2006 by modes98

modes98 Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 (edited) Stu: Wisla should have played 3 not 4. Otherwise Feyenoord are playing themselves in 2 weeks edit: that fantastic left back for feyenoord has just been sent off, the red missed a bad leg breaker earlier in the game. Ooh Dear, looks like the Feyenoord fans are starting up edit2: Pen to nancy, Scored! 3-0 Edited November 30, 2006 by modes98
Manchester Blue Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 Krakow have taken the lead so third is wide open. We don't need to win as 2nd would not be a disaster with some of the teams coming out of the Champions League.

trs Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 If we finish second, do we still play the first leg away (14/15feb) in next round?

Worth putting the events in Nancy in context- Feyernoord have taken some real stuffings in the Dutch league this season. Ajax who did them 4-0 at de Kuyp are currently losing at home to Espanyol but should still limp into the last 32.

MCMC1875 Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 Now I wouldn't mind going to Benfica........

Have you seen them in recent weeks? Unstoppable in Camp Nou. Quite a few eastern European teams that i'd fancy us against.
modes98 Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 Feyenoord match suspended, due to tear gas fired at the feyenoord fans
cn174 Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 The ref has taken the players off at Nancy because tear gas has got onto the pitch. Feyenoord have been very poor and Nancy have pretty much been in control the entire game.
modes98 Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 All the Nancy fans appear to be leaving. Feyenoord will be severly done for this after their record.
MI ROVER Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 Just think that could so easily have been Ewood Park, baring seedings I presume
