Bobby G Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Pana are very difficult but I think its still do-able for us. Overall, difficult route for us with Bayer then two of the more stronger teams in the draw.

Eddie Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 At least this should mean that we are seen as a better tie than Newcastle for TV.
tchocky Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Not that they have shown any rovers uafa games thus far on the Eurosport we get in Norway..
pick32 Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Hard draw probably the hardest out of the british teams.
den Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Can we use the Bayer Leverkeusen topic for travel etc, now please?
RevidgeBlue Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 If we beat Leverkusen we play Lens or Panathanikos in the last 16.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 At least this should mean that we are seen as a better tie than Newcastle for TV. Are you joking! ......its Rovers we are talking about.
SAS Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 two tough draws for us there leverkusan will be a very hard game
cn174 Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/europe/6183651.stm Spurs fans might not get to watch the Feyenoord game
Jordan Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/europe/6183651.stm Spurs fans might not get to watch the Feyenoord game Aww how can they do that to the arguably the second biggest team in England behind Birmingham City.
Jordan Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Should we get though the Leverkusen game, will we be away or at home for the first leg against Lens/Pananananaankkios
Lee Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 (edited) Away first, home second. 8th March, then 14th or 15th March Edited December 15, 2006 by Lee
Jordan Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 (edited) Away first, home second. 8th March, then 14th or 15th March Cheers, better get that booked off work now then. EDIT - Off work 6th,7th,8th,9th March. Would love to play Panathanikos should we get through. Seems fairly easy and cheap to get to . Edited December 15, 2006 by Jordan
Mr. E Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 typical, probably the hardest draw. still, Leverkusen have been in a very bad form the past couple of seasons, we should be looking to beat them.
ABBEY Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 we cant beat an egg at the moment, rather lose this one and get the league back in order ,than keep winning in europe and getting relegated.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Just out of interest we are 1 win away from equalling the Dingles 6 wins in all European competitions.
rover_groo Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Can we use the Bayer Leverkeusen topic for travel etc, now please? Who put you in charge?
pksrover Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Who put you in charge? Simon, did you come over for the Nancy game? didn't hear anything from you!
rover_groo Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Simon, did you come over for the Nancy game? didn't hear anything from you! Hi Pks, Yeah I was over for the game. There were 9 from the branch and it was great craic. A few had taken a bit too much to drink and knew what it was coming to. One of them even thought Andy Todd was on the pitch in 2nd half!! Anyhow, I didn't have a number to contact you on unfortunately. I kept an eye out for you and Nidge said he saw you in Holland going bonkers at the match!! Send me your mobile over a PM and I'll call you later. Trust all is well and you are set for the festivities. Talk soon. Simon.
Fife Rover Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Just out of interest we are 1 win away from equalling the Dingles 6 wins in all European competitions. Hmmm....... You do realise that by invoking that particular statistic you have ensured that we will lose on aggregate to Leverkusen and go out of the EUFA Cup.
