Rovers are to prepare for next season with an away game against Accrington Stanley on the 19th July, before they set off for a 10 day training camp in Germany, where they will play friendlies against.

Hamburg on the 22nd July, and Greek champions Olympiakos on the 28th July.

As a curtain raiser to the season Rovers will play the New Zealand national team at Ewood Park on the 12th August a week before the 2006-2007 Premiership season starts.
