Drakefyre Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 In my opinion, this game was by far the most exciting game of the tournament so far. When Al-Jaber scored, I couldn't help but grin from ear to ear, and Jaidi's goal (a defender in the opponent's box in the 93rd minute!) was heart-wrenching too. This was a game (or at least a second half) reminiscent of a final or semifinal, not group stage.

Rovermatt Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 A brilliant game. I thought the Saudis had won it but Tunisia came right back at them. Exciting stuff.
RoyRover Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 It was pretty dire first half, with the only highlight being the goal. The second half was far better, with some great goals and an exciting finish.
philipl Posted June 16, 2006 Posted June 16, 2006 Hang-on, they cannot have played yet; I am supposed to be writing the preview for this one!
Flopsy Posted June 16, 2006 Posted June 16, 2006 (go for a 2-2 prediction with an equaliser in injury time)
SouthAussieRover Posted June 16, 2006 Posted June 16, 2006 Hang-on, they cannot have played yet; I am supposed to be writing the preview for this one! Were you busy arranging a concert? Never mind old chap there's always another chance in 4 years time.
American Posted June 16, 2006 Posted June 16, 2006 Saudi Arabia only decided to play for about 20 minutes in the second half. Between the first goal by Tunisia and SA's first, it was dire. Tunisian atmosphere was great, though.
