Presty On Tour Posted August 14, 2006 Author Posted August 14, 2006 been on the official site and it still has last seasons numbers on the squad profiles with our 4 new signings at the end of the list with no numbers at all, i've been of the f.a's website and there's nothing on there for any club, sorry folks.
American Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 Went on the official mb and Lee said mid-week.
Presty On Tour Posted August 14, 2006 Author Posted August 14, 2006 Went on the official mb and Lee said mid-week. cheers buddy, i've been searching all the search engines for the last hour and found loads of clubs who ahve released theirs over the weekend or even before including barcelona's who's season doesn't kick off for another few weeks. why do we seem to be always the last to do anything? it must affect shirt sales etc...
G Somerset Rover Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 (edited) I think it has-me included. If they'd have released the numbers already they would be £80 richer. I'll still probably buy them when the numbers are out, but Im sure some wont be as keen. Edited August 14, 2006 by Somerset Rover!
laughatthedingles Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 (edited) The numbers will be as follows: 1. Friedel 2. Neill 3. Zurab 4. Todd 5. 6. Nelsen 7. Reid 8. Savage 9. Kuqi 10. Jeffers 11. Roberts 12. Gamst 13. Enckleman 14. Bentley 15. Mokoena 16. Tugay 17. McCarthy 18. Peter 19. Emerton 20. Gallagher 21. Matteo 22. Douglas 23. 24. McEveley 25. Johnson 26. Taylor 27. Derbyshire 28. Brown 29. 30. 31. 32. 33. Gray Edited August 14, 2006 by laughatthedingles
chris Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 hmm number 5, who is that going to be, 4 normally goes to a midfielder
S15 Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 Everyone seems convinced McCarthywill be 17, but I'm convinced it's always been 77 he's wore, so why would 17 be a dead ringer? I think he's just as likely to be 9, 10 or 11. Maybe 77, is that allowed in the EPL?

Brown 29. 30. 31. 32. 33. Gray No they won't
Mark Atkins' Bald Patch Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 I'm glad to see Benni's been Given no. 10 ... I always prefer it when you're front pairing wear 9 and 10 .. pity Roberts has opted for his 'preferred' no. 30 instead of asking Kuqi politely for no. 9
Presty On Tour Posted August 15, 2006 Author Posted August 15, 2006 tugay seems to be changing numbers every season, number 3 and 16 i think he has had before and maybe more? i'm opting for a tugay number 5 shirt though anyway, a class act and probably his final season.
Drakefyre Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 Tugay has definitely had 5 in the past, and maybe 8 as well?
tchocky Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 30 players given a squad number. Hopefully the gaps can be stopped with new signings.
Radagast Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 (edited) Tugay has definitely had 5 in the past, and maybe 8 as well? He's had 3 ('cause it looks like 8), 8 and 16 in the past. Edited August 15, 2006 by Radagast
ihtd Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 Hopefully you are right tchocky. If we get three players in before deadline day whether on loan or on a permanent basis i'll be quite happy. I am so glad Morten has kept his number 12 shirt, i might look a prat with my Pedersen away shirt instead of Gamst but at least i've got the correct number I'll just have to get Gamst on my home shirt instead.
Presty On Tour Posted August 15, 2006 Author Posted August 15, 2006 (edited) I think he may have had number 5 though with the number 8 didn't batty or sherwood have it, then gallagher and then dunn took it off him? edit : i think you are right, savage robbed it off tugay last season and tugay was given 16 Edited August 15, 2006 by jansenpresty10@wales
chris Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 think Sherwood had 4 which really is a midfielders number
Radagast Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 Number 4s: Sherwood, McAteer, Berg, Todd, Amoruso, Todd Number 8s: Gallagher, Dunn, Tugay, Savage
Presty On Tour Posted August 15, 2006 Author Posted August 15, 2006 think Sherwood had 4 which really is a midfielders number correct
tchocky Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 I'd consider Kerimoglu for the back of my shirt... The surname might be deemed by non-footballfans a little "tu" gay.
Bobby G Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 Which wing does Treacy play on and how good is he? Which of the youngsters is closest to the first team do you think?
Philly Rover ® Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 Treacy has usually played on the left I believe, at least during his preseason run outs with the first team. As for your second question, there's plenty of opinions on that in this thread.
