Fife Rover Posted July 1, 2006 Posted July 1, 2006 (edited) some top class trouble making by the argies after losing thre game... everyone should look out for the highlights - theres a 'come together' at the end and an arg player flys in from nowhere and hits one of the germans in the back. Heinze from Utd gets really wound up too. Its classic stuff. At least england won't have to play argentina now. Its setting up for a Eng Ger final hopefully I really don't think this present England squad is capable of beating Germany in a final on their own soil. I would love to be proved wrong, but I would rather we don't have to find out. Edited July 1, 2006 by Fife Rover

Drakefyre Posted July 1, 2006 Posted July 1, 2006 From what I understand, Germany assistant coach Oliver Bierhoff was the one who initiated the post-match scrum.
rover6 Posted July 1, 2006 Posted July 1, 2006 Germany have a central midfield that works. Lampard and Gerrard hasn't and we're only where we are due to the luck of the draw. I expect a much improved performance v Portgual but ultimately, Scolari's motivational talents will prevail imo.
