Actually I remembered that I got my router for free. I rang up AOL to say that I couldn't connect my 360 to live because of not having a router and was thinking of cancelling my scubscription, they gave me a router for free. It is very easy to setup.

To use wireles the router needs to be on (it comes with an adaptor) but your PC does not need to be on. You can then connect your 360 via your ethernet cable or buy a 360 wireless adaptor and use that. Get on live as it is well worth it!!
