James No. 7 Posted August 5, 2006 Posted August 5, 2006 What is uncharacteristic about Neill making a mistake? It's the Blackburn Rovers Pravda attempting some sort of evil brainwashing again.
unleaded Posted August 5, 2006 Posted August 5, 2006 Does this photo show Neil was made Skipper for todays game? Benni In Action. Rovers In Action More Photo`s
Perth_Rover Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 Does this photo show Neil was made Skipper for todays game? When nelsen doesn't play lucas gets the band, well he did last season. So taking it away from him now will be even more reason for him not to sign a contract
S15 Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 This picture is golden, and gives me nightmares about the prospect of the axe playing right back for us at the start of the season.
Ozz Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 Rovers away support is really plumbing new depths Zuschauer: 8.500 (davon ca. 20 Blackburn Fans) I mean 20 fans, in Germany, in summer, for a friendly? I blame the Walkers.

herbergeehh Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 Jordan and others: Has Tugay been playing well when he has come on so far?
Manchester Blue Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 Two Blades fans stabbed in Rotterdam! Let's hope they are a bit more friendly on Wednesday.
Ste B Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 I blame SteB, they sat in the home end. STOOD actually There were a few fans sat in the main stand behind the Rovers team, including Sergio Peters mum. I'll upload a few pics tomorrow. Apparently Neill told Orvil that he would "hopefully" sign a new contract. Emerton wasnt involved at all, neither was Andy Todd.

If that is true, then it is good news.
bob fleming Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 Is Orvil reliable? More's the point, Is Lucas Neill?
Bobby G Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 Haha he was probably afraid Orvil might stab him if he said he was leaving!
cloggyjimmybrfc Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 More's the point, Is Lucas Neill? as i live in holland ill tell ya a similar story,i went to the aachen game,i was in block A,i was near the players dug out, with my wife and lad(you can see some fotos of them trainin and my lad with david bentley, zurab, and jay roberts on roversmad),anyway back to the story..the folowin day i was in roermond(retail park)holland, and low and behold the entire squad is havin a shoppin day,as i spoke to the majority of them a finally bumped into lucas neill, and i too ask him what will you be doin for the future?"" i will be signin a new contract what else?"hmmm!so that clears that up..........
Bobby G Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 Hmm either Lucas is really screwing us nicely for extra dosh, or he is afraid to come face to face with crazy Rover fans.
cloggyjimmybrfc Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 personally i think he will sign a new contract..(is the noose and trapdoor ready?)
RoyRover Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 Hmm either Lucas is really screwing us nicely for extra dosh, or he is afraid to come face to face with crazy Rover fans. Exactly. What else can he say to a supporter whoaskes them he is going to stay? "Na mate, I'm tired of Blackburn, we've just qualified for Europe, we are a team on the up, with one the best young managers about, but I'm going to join Spurs who can offer me so much more." The photos were great. It's brilliant to see Benni in the Rovers shirt at last. I had the same feelings when I saw that picture of Aaron Mokoena, jumping through the air and missing the ball. Lets hope he doesn't have to play at right back too often.
Hughesy Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 So for anyone that actually saw the game – How did McCarthy do in his 1st game?
SAS Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 lucas neill seems to be a digging a massive hole if he is lying
greggyk Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 massive hole? He's told 2 people. One a dutch guy who is unlikely to ever see a live Rovers match and the other, a drunk who will most likely have forgotten what he told him or probably spoke to the wrong player.
cloggyjimmybrfc Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 benni did enough, nothin more nothin less. the real games will be in a week or so,imo tho he will gradually settle in a be a major player.i must add that benni and jay looked comfortable together.
SAS Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 massive hole? He's told 2 people. One a dutch guy who is unlikely to ever see a live Rovers match and the other, a drunk who will most likely have forgotten what he told him or probably spoke to the wrong player. but now possibly thousands know
Ste B Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 the other, a drunk who will most likely have forgotten what he told him or probably spoke to the wrong player. To be fair, he had been drinking heavily. Not as heavily as JPW though who managed to a) Leave the BRFCS flag on platform 9 at Koln station and Scuff a penalty miles wide causing the entire Aachen team to laugh a lot. Jay Roberts looks to be a good signing
