Will Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 Just wondering if anyone can shed some light on the friendly meant to be in Holland on Saturday 5th August against Alemannia Aachen. The official site this will be played in Germany, in Aachen, Is this correct ? Looking at doing a day trip.
Lee Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 Aachen is in Germany, not Holland, and that is where Alemannia's ground is
philipl Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 Aachen is just over the border- a bit like going to Burnley.
philipl Posted July 20, 2006 Posted July 20, 2006 Jemal Johnson is not in the party of 27 flying out to Germany this afternoon. Some of the youngsters are though.
kingsleyamis Posted July 20, 2006 Posted July 20, 2006 Jemal Johnson is not in the party of 27 flying out to Germany this afternoon. Some of the youngsters are though. Looks like JJ might be on his way out of Ewood then. Didn't do much when he was out on loan at Preston or Darlington last season, did he? He's got loads of pace, but never really looks bothered enough to use it. Pity.
pleasure Posted July 21, 2006 Posted July 21, 2006 JJ is quick, but that's about it. he's not up to premiership football.
Presty On Tour Posted July 21, 2006 Posted July 21, 2006 was lucas and brett in the 27? sod JJ, all pace no skills, get a few ££££££ for him and add it to the transfer kitty.
Scotty Posted July 21, 2006 Posted July 21, 2006 Booked flights and hotels for the second pre-season overseas tour now. Staying in Cologne Friday 4th August, Aachen on the 5th, and then Amsterdam until the 9th.
pleasure Posted July 21, 2006 Posted July 21, 2006 Jemal Johnson is not in the party of 27 flying out to Germany this afternoon. Some of the youngsters are though. enkleman's not gone either. has he been relegated to 3rd choice keeper ?
Eddie Posted July 21, 2006 Posted July 21, 2006 It would seem so. Probably because Brown is younger so Hughes will see him as the long term replacement.
Presty On Tour Posted July 21, 2006 Posted July 21, 2006 brown is going to be the welsh number one for the european qualifiers.
Blackpool_Rover Posted July 21, 2006 Posted July 21, 2006 Im surprised Enckleman has stayed so long. Surely he wont be happy being 3rd choice. He should settle for a championship club.
Lee Posted July 21, 2006 Posted July 21, 2006 enkleman's not gone either. has he been relegated to 3rd choice keeper ? Enckelman has gone, you and your mis-guided information!
pleasure Posted July 21, 2006 Posted July 21, 2006 Enckelman has gone, you and your mis-guided information! apologies, i've just re-read the squad. i can't catch a break at the moment!
Jordan Posted July 21, 2006 Posted July 21, 2006 Flying our to Germany tomorrow evening. I will make sure that the reports this year make sense as the previous years have been written at about 4'o'clock in the morning and some sort of code was required to read them. I will try and keep Glenn/Ste up to date via text with the in match information. Regards Jordan
blue/white Posted July 21, 2006 Posted July 21, 2006 Go Easy on the Stella, Jordan. if you're gonna post updates @ 4 am-- couldn't you furnish the mb with a rosetta stone- type index we can utilize to decipher your ramblings?
Jordan Posted July 21, 2006 Posted July 21, 2006 Just had a look at the forcast for the next five days. 36 degrees!!! I cant hot weather!!
John Howarth Posted July 22, 2006 Posted July 22, 2006 I understand that the Hamburg game is on satalite DSF live on Sunday with a number of local pubs showing the game
SAS Posted July 22, 2006 Posted July 22, 2006 (edited) local pubs as in blackburn pubs? which ones Edited July 22, 2006 by SAS
Lee Posted July 22, 2006 Posted July 22, 2006 I know the Roebuck in Rishton is showing it. I expect any pub who normally shows naughty football at 3pm on a Saturday will have the ability to show this game. DSF - Astra Satellite at 19 deg E (not the same Astra that Sky now transmit from, but it is the place where old Sky Analog broadcast from) As far as I can see, the Olympiakos game isn't on TV
Mark Atkins' Bald Patch Posted July 22, 2006 Posted July 22, 2006 I understand that the Hamburg game is on satalite DSF live on Sunday with a number of local pubs showing the game Result!! ... I've got DSF in the house. Well chuffed.
