holloholloway Posted August 16, 2006 Author Posted August 16, 2006 single sentances annoy you? Great news on the wolves official site. We have agreed a fee for jemal johnson. When i watched him in the rserves he was really quick so hopefully his pace will be what we need in the championship.
Florida Rover Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 How much was the fee given as (or was it our typical "undisclosed")?
speeeeeeedie Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 Geez cant you write more then one line? Its annoying and bloody rude. At least people like Rovers6 make a contribution to the board, with thoughful and well constructive posts, contributing to the discussion. This rant is a bit strange. You might as well have a go at the whole board.
tchocky Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 Can't imagine we will get a lot of cash, but a decent sell-on clause will do nicely. Just in case. Hope that's enough for two lines....

USABlue Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 Undisclosed. So you've signed Jemal then? Good luck to him and to you, may he score the winner against the Dingles this week. Nah, make that a hat trick

S15 Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 One word.... Good. Ps. This 'Ps.' is only here to satisfy wakefielddrawks.
rover6 Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 (edited) I think JJ will be a good buy for Wolves. Imo he has the technique levels to succeed, and just needs a run of games to build his confidence. Reserve football is not scene for a player to develop his game and he's not going to get a chance with Rovers three new forwards. JJ and Bothroyd to fire Wolves into the Premiership? And then Wolves fans woke up. ! Edited August 16, 2006 by rover6

bluebruce Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 Geez cant you write more then one line? There's a considerable amount of irony in that one-line question. And I say irony because it's less confrontational than 'hypocrisy'.

pleasure Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 JJ and Bothroyd to fire Wolves into the Premiership? dont forget- the enigmatic- carl cort! i'm sceptical that JJ is up to championship standard (& if wolves are, for that matter). he's been unconvincing whenever i've seen him (reserves/ first-team), but, if he does start scoring, and with wolves going through a bad time, he may become a hero. he'd never have made it at rovers though. i still cant understand how he got offered a new deal, a couple of seasons ago.

Ref: i still cant understand how he got offered a new deal, a couple of seasons ago. Depends on how much money we got for him, I wish him luck, even though I don't have too much time for Wolves. You're right though, too lightweight and a bit lazy in my view.
John Posted August 17, 2006 Posted August 17, 2006 (edited) Was it Hughes who offered JJ his new deal?? It must have been JJ - New deal Edited August 17, 2006 by John
USABlue Posted August 19, 2006 Posted August 19, 2006 So you've signed Jemal then? Good luck to him and to you, may he score the winner against the Dingles this week. Nah, make that a hat trick Heh Heh. I'd be over joyed but for our result.
eddiecolne Posted August 19, 2006 Posted August 19, 2006 Apparently Mick Mcarthy went over to the dingle fans and made a cheeky bid to sign up the dingles who shouted "you'll always be a b******D" . He said, "I could use them every game, to spur the lad on, they worked a treat". Hehe.

The1mattjansen Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 To be fair to JJ I think he is a very talented player. He does seem to be rather bigheaded, but he reminds me of SWP quite a lot, he's got a very good first touch and nice technique, I wouldn't be surprised to see him do very well in the championship at make it back into the big league someday.

McClarky Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 I hope JJ celebrated his goal in a suitably provocative manner.
chris Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 Already mentioned this, I wonder what Alan Mahon was thinking, dumb dingles. Alan Mahon was thinking, its just typical fans singing, i don't care
