Nayef Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 We have signed him for 2.5million and i was wondering how you lot rated him. I think he will score goals but maybe a bit over priced. Cheers His work rate is:

92er Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 But he might be as successful for Palace as he was for Ipswich once he settles down.
thenodrog Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 You didn't even try did you? Back to the "debate", Palace are in the Football League so they are responsible for sending the registration papers. Could be the Rovers offered to help out and sent the papers to Lytham St Annes themselves. Never mind all that chip shop stuff with the registartion forms....... I just hope we managed to get the cheque to the bank. Has anybody checked?

The1mattjansen Posted September 16, 2006 Posted September 16, 2006 O dear, I think the big mans been dropped today. What a strange transfer.
Cocker Posted September 16, 2006 Posted September 16, 2006 O dear, I think the big mans been dropped today. What a strange transfer. And he has just scored
92er Posted September 16, 2006 Posted September 16, 2006 As he scored the winner, I don't think we got enough for him.
RevidgeBlue Posted September 16, 2006 Posted September 16, 2006 As he scored the winner, I don't think we got enough for him. Although to be fair he'd apparently been dropped because he'd been so poor in his first two games.
Palace_john Posted September 18, 2006 Author Posted September 18, 2006 O dear, I think the big mans been dropped today. What a strange transfer. He needed a kick up the arse and what a time to score the winning goal.
thenodrog Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 If you've read this board enough John you will find that whilst nobody rates his technical abilities, and that most opposing ch's seem to get the measure of him when he is on from the start, we certainly recognise his talent to come on as sub half way through the second half and cause mayhem and panic in the opposition ranks.... frequently swinging the game in your favour. SuperSub is his best position.

SuperSub is his best position. 2.5million is a lot of dosh for a sub but if he can change the outcome of a game by coming on and scoreing it is money well spent. We are at home to coventry on saturday, so it will be interesting to see what happens weather he plays from the start or hes on the subs bench.

Alan75 Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 You kinda miss the guy too, that's the crazy part.. Very true, its like watching your mate play. You know hes cr@p but you want him to do well.
Jordan Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 Was watching the Championship this morning and could not believe my ears when I heard the commentator say 'and man of the match Shefki Kuqi'.
Fife Rover Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 Was watching the Championship this morning and could not believe my ears when I heard the commentator say 'and man of the match Shefki Kuqi'. Well here I go again sticking my neck out for it to get chopped off, but every time I think of Kuqi and recall some of the incidents and goals for us I get all nostalgic. I actually miss the guy. And, further to this, I get the same effect when I think of Amorouso. I am fully aware of these two players limitations but I absolutely respect them both for their attitudes and for just plain being very nice likeable guys. Now I am waiting for the massive assault and accusations to come piling in. Tin hat at the ready.
roversmum Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 No accusations from me. Loved both those guys for their commitment and their ability to pop up and score goals at a crucial time . Miss them both .

Everybody took the p1ss out of one whilst one took the p1ss out of everyone!
Fife Rover Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 Q. Whats the difference between Kuqi and Amoruso? A. Everybody took the p1ss out of one whilst one took the p1ss out of everyone! Sorry theno, but that's far too subtle for me; you are going to have to explain
RevidgeBlue Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 You kinda miss the guy too, that's the crazy part.. Not for me, I miss Kuqi about as much as Ashley Ward. Stead is a different matter and I was pleased to see he'd scored three goals in consecutive games recently having gone on loan to Derby.
AxesFirstTouch Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 Id rather have Kuqi on the bench then Mokoena.
