Steve Posted September 7, 2006 Posted September 7, 2006 I think it will be a scrappy one 2-1 to Rovers McCarthy double But i can see someone getting sent off!
Mark Atkins' Bald Patch Posted September 7, 2006 Posted September 7, 2006 I'm getting over for this one so we better win. 2-0 Rovers. Ooijer with a header from a corner for the first goal.
OJRovers Posted September 7, 2006 Posted September 7, 2006 Shef Utd 0 - 2 Rovers Hopefully the backlash will begin here.
pleasure Posted September 7, 2006 Posted September 7, 2006 i'd go so far as to suggest this is MUST WIN, and rovers will... 1-3, benni 3!
3rdpillar Posted September 7, 2006 Posted September 7, 2006 Someones gonna get a real spanking from Marks Boys but not yet. Rovers 1 SUFC 0
Ozz Posted September 7, 2006 Posted September 7, 2006 Seems like a few Rovers fans are going to make the journey over t'Pennines. A small group of us from Chorley are going on the train, via Manchester. I am informed that Stalybridge railway station has a decent eating/drinking dept, anyone know for sure? The pricing at £26 plus the student options, plus the lack of game last week plus it is the first really do-able away trip of this season should see a good turnout for the lads.
bazza Posted September 7, 2006 Posted September 7, 2006 I think we'll get kicked off the park. I just hope Nonda, McCarthy and Toogs don't get bad injuries. Sheff Utd 2 Rovers 1 Low point of the season. Onwards and upwards from then on.
krislu Posted September 7, 2006 Posted September 7, 2006 Finally a vitory for Rovers! Sheff Utd - 1 Rovers - 3 I've gotten every result (lost, drew, lost) right so far, so expect another "spot on" prediction by the wizard from up North.
Mr. E Posted September 7, 2006 Posted September 7, 2006 Do or die, 3 points are absolutely necassary.
Tango Posted September 7, 2006 Posted September 7, 2006 (edited) We're gonna lose. Lawrenson's fault for saying this; "they've still got a lot of quality and I tip them to win here". Edited September 7, 2006 by Tango
arealbrfcfan Posted September 7, 2006 Posted September 7, 2006 I usually tempt fate by saying 3-0 rovers. But i really think we're due hammering someone this weekend! We need to, to get that goals against down.

I can ask at work about Stalybridge if you are interested? I'll post tomorrow with the reply. I think we're heading straight to Sheff to catch the early kick off.
philipl Posted September 7, 2006 Posted September 7, 2006 Sheff U will approach this one like their cup final. Rovers to come back from behind for a very nervy 2-1 win.
SAS Posted September 7, 2006 Posted September 7, 2006 will be a very tough game we need the 3points so do they hopefully our new back 4 will fit in well going in car to this, any ideas on were to park people?
