AndyH16 Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 (edited) This game is unreal. Sounds like Jeffers put a header just wide. Edited September 9, 2006 by Hainesey

bubblerrovers Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 yeah making a player who is desperate to leave captain is pure genius. Thank god for brad
Rovermatt Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 We'll be lucky to escape with a point. What a load of sh!te.
stuwilky Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 yeah making a player who is desperate to leave captain is pure genius. Thank god for brad I presume you know the various skills and attributes of our players better than Mark Hughes? Of course, if you dont, shut up.
doctorryan Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 With this lineup, the armband should be on Tugs.
Flopsy Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 1 substitution made - anyone else worried - Peter or Gally should have come on for MGP or bentley or both Thanks Brad
Mr. E Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 FT 0-0 Brad did unbelievable things to earn us a point, but this is a terrible result. It's obvious now that we simply aren't good enough this season, and we'll do very well to survive. It's gonna be a long, hard, frustrating season...
B.R.F.C Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 Brad Friedel has proved today why he is indeed a LEGEND of Blackburn Rovers. The man saves 2 pens and robs Hulse twice to get us a point. All bow down
krislu Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 So we needed a supermans performance by Friedel to save a point against Sheffield United
frosty Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 Brad Neill If we win next week though we will be back on track.
mattyc2422 Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 These are the games we should be winning.
Grabbi Graeme Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 Need to win on Thursday , not just because it's Uefa cup but a win could just kick start our season
kevinyip Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 (edited) Anyone still think that we are capable to play in first four? We cannot win Sheff Utd... This means that our standard is just *similiar* (please note that we are lucky not to lose to them) to sheff Utd. I don't think we can win thursday as they are not weak team. emglch Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 (edited) this is getting worrying... Edited September 9, 2006 by emglch
Paul Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 Ooijer ~ two games, two penalties conceded This lad has a lot to learn. Didn't listen to the commentary today so can't make a remark on the game other than you have to wonder what's happening if we need Brad to save us against Sheffield United. As for Neill.....WTF?
greggyk Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 (edited) Neill was our best outfield player today according to BBC. Had we scored our pen(from a McCarthy dive), im sure Brad wouldn't have had to make those two saves. Edited September 9, 2006 by greggyk

Are Liverpool a similar standard cos they drew with sheff united also? Whata load of crap. Its 4 games!

It was Zurab (Or the commentator said so, I almost missed it so didn't see the infraction. Very small in any case) for the first and Neill for the second (And that was NOT a penalty).
West Sussex Rover Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 I cant stand the way people are making excuses for our poor perfomances. Firstly i would like to point out that none of the 3 penalties that were given today should have been given in the first place... None of our signings from the summer or during the season have looked any good at all. The only person who came out of this game deserving credit was Brad Friedel. I am very very concerned... We need to sign new midfielders, but its too late now...
DP Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 A lot of tripe being spouted on here. Away point is never bad in the prem. Incidently our first three opponents of the season are in the top four. We're also the only team to take any points from Everton. Things looking up....
pg Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 5Live said the second penalty was awarded for a Lucas Neil 'handball', which the TV replay showed struck him firmly in the chest.
yellowsubmarine Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 Hail Brad! We are horrible. Wakeup ROVERS!
West Sussex Rover Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 Has to be said, how much did we need Kuqi today???
