Blackburn Rovers have today announced the signing of Stephene Henchoz. Henchoz has been a free agent since leaving Wigan at the end of last season and was therefore not affected by the transfer window.

Henchoz had a previous spell with Rovers after being signed by Woy Hodgson, he departed the club following relegation and went on to have a succesful period with Liverpool.

Hencoz has signed a 12 month contract.
