Scotty Posted September 16, 2006 Posted September 16, 2006 6-1 Rovers. Stuart Pearce will spontaneously combust on about the 71st minute mark. They're going down - we're not.

Ozz Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 Number nine for City today.... Good in the air?
FourLaneBlue Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 If we win by two goals and some of the other games today go for us then we will be in the top half! Then we'll all be going "so much for the crisis then!"...and the same posters worried about relegation will be expecting a champions league spot again! However I'll be happy with just the three points... 2-1 Rover!
1864roverite Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 anyone notice the potential leap on offer in the table ? Bottom to 9th with a 1-0 win Thats all we want
Hanks Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 2-1 rovers with dickov almost soiling my day, oh yea and a load of people complaining that its not on sky and they missed the match, its rovers fault and their never going to go again.
Ozz Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 dickov almost soiling my day He always was a dirty git.
philipl Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 anyone notice the potential leap on offer in the table ? Bottom to 9th with a 1-0 win Thats all we want Any result from the West Ham v Newcastle game puts 9th out of reach and we need Spuds , Arsenal and Liverpool not to win to keep 10th in reach. I think we will have to resolve ourselves to being in 11th IF we get the win- cannot see Spuds not getting a win against Fulham at home.
krislu Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 ROVERS: Friedel, Emerton, Ooijer, Khizanishvili, Neill ©, Bentley, Tugay, Savage, Gamst, Jeffers, McCarthy. Sub: Nonda, Mokoena, Gallagher, Brown, Peter Our current strikeforce better than last season, think not. Jeffers is playing too much imo..

Well we certainly do have a better strikeforce if you take Bellamy out of the equation. and we should remember that Bellamy was injured for around half of last season.
Hypo-Luxa Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 I hope someone on here that is listening to the game can give updates...I cannot open Radio Rovers broadcast for some reason
AndyH16 Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 What the...against the run of play Gamst scores with a deflection! 1-0!
pg Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 Gamst scores from a free kick with the aid of a deflection of Trevor Sinclair, 1-0 to us in the 17th minute.
AxesFirstTouch Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 Great this goal will allow MGP to play crap again for another 5 games.

G Somerset Rover Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 (edited) Sounds like we need to get out of first gear despite going 1 up. The Sky commentator says that they've been all over us. Comon Rovers! EDIT-1-1 Joey Barton. and City creating "Loads of chances" Edited September 17, 2006 by Somerset Rover!
