modes98 Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 Half Time 1-2 Pretty Even Half of Football, Hughes must be happy to have the away goals but the defence still looks very shakey! Gally is playing well by the sounds of it and Savage is playing "his best game for Rovers".
ihtd Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 We have to be happy going in at H/T at 1-2 with two away goals. I hope the defence steadys up second half and we carry on in the same order up front. Nonda will hoepfully cause them some trouble late on in the match should he come on with his pace.
92er Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 According to Dinnis, Tugay is the best player in the pitch. The commentary team are annoyed that their coach has appraoched the ref to say more of our players should have been booked.
USRoverME Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 their coach has appraoched the ref to say more of our players should have been booked. Apparently he's watched too many Jose Moriniho and Alex Ferguson press conferences!
kingsleyamis Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 According to Dinnis, Tugay is the best player in the pitch. The commentary team are annoyed that their coach has appraoched the ref to say more of our players should have been booked. That would suggest he's getting frustrated by Rovers taking control of the game then. Good. Is Gally playing off McCarthy or is he wide right?
92er Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 Gallagher is playing wide, and not doing great.
FINRover Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 Rovers fans are in good voice!!! CHEERS!!! CHEERS!!! C'mon Rovers!!
USRoverME Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 anyone care that West Ham just conceded a goal at home just before the half?
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 Here we go......STAND TALL ROVERS!!!!
RoyRover Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 Try Gallagher up top in his natural position and put Bentley on the right. If we are ever going to get the best of Gallagher, which is a big question, then we should be playing him in his best position.
kingsleyamis Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 I do That'll teach em for being on TV Ha! Anyone know if the artificial pitch has caused us any problems?
RoyRover Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 How is gamst playing? I don't know, but I could make a good guess.
Texan Rover Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 Try Gallagher up top in his natural position and put Bentley on the right. If we are ever going to get the best of Gallagher, which is a big question, then we should be playing him in his best position. Has it occurred to you that Mark Hughes might have a better understanding of Gallagher's "best position" than you do?
USRoverME Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 well supposedly it was gamst's set piece effort that led to McCarty's goal. That of course means he was probably anonymous for the other 44 minutes and 45 seconds.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 Massive performance from Tugay tonight
modes98 Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 (edited) mm the stoney silence sums it up really. Only thing to report is a shot by bentley. edit: great run by zurab and a shot to match, very unlucky! edit2: Another close shot from Sav, things are getting better! edit3: Sav free kick, headed by MGP inches wide! Edited September 14, 2006 by modes98
92er Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 They are making their last 2 subs. A good cross, I think by Perdersen, and Savage should have made it 3-1.
kingsleyamis Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 Massive performance from Tugay tonight He's still the main man. I don't think we'll ever be able to replace him!
92er Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 Savage did a "wonderful" free kick and gallagher should have scored.
