ihtd Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 We must hang on for a win, after the chances the lads have missed in this match we need to take a lead to Ewood Park.
92er Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 Benni going off slowly a la Tugay! Dinnis was somewnat disappointed with Benni's performance as he felt he had not done an awful lot.
krislu Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 Its Salzburg corner, corner, corner and bloody corner!
Lathund Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 Jeez, who ###### on your parade? The guy's a striker, we all know that, I don't need to be Mark Hughes to know that. Kolo Touré plays at right back or the right side of midfield too. No way he can play centre half.
modes98 Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 oh crap! 2-2, after a great save from brad! 91mins in!
krislu Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 2-2 isn't too bad, it sounds like it could have ended worse in the end.
BuckyRover Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 I suppose it means we can't just defend in the 2nd leg. We should go through Good result
USRoverME Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 we also squandered a lot of chances in the first part of the 2nd half, all in all a tie and 2 away goals is not the worst result.
West Sussex Rover Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 Just goes to show how we rely on some select players too much, ala Brad and Tugay. Here we go again, draw number how many?? Oh well, at least we got an away goal... Ooijer is looking a waste of money!!
Seggie Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
92er Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 The commentators say the equaliser has been coming for some time, but we also had plenty of chances.
ihtd Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 TBH we would have taken 2 away goals before kick-off, but after the chances we have had in this match we should be disappointed with the result, we could have taken a lead to Ewood but theres still another 90minutes to be played in this tie.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 (CALMED DOWN) WELL DONE ROVERS!!.......2 away goals Home game MASSIVE now.
Dan Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 (edited) It was coming. I'm getting a bad bad feeling, remember how well Wales did at one point? Don;t get me wrong, I thin k Highes is a fantastic manager and I wouldn't want any other manager at the moment, but I am getting a gut feeling. How many times are we warned in matches about problems and end up getting punished, we need to be tactically more aware because, we have little or no skill in the squad. HOW sick am I of seeing us having a lead and deciding to defend after 70 minutes. Jesus, it's BASIC theory that sitting back will invite pressure. Someone fax Hughsie with this will they?!!!
