krislu Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 Ooijer is looking a waste of money!! According to Rovers World Ooijer was much improved today. A bloody shame Nelsen is out for a while.

West Sussex Rover Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 Lol. Was right then... 2-2 Still rather dissapointed that we ended up with yet another draw!!
jrabrfc Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 Given our superb home record in Europe I can't see any problems for the 2nd leg.........
Finch Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 have we ever actually won a UEFA cup match? Because I dont think we have. Can anyone confirm?
Oakland Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 Given our superb home record in Europe I can't see any problems for the 2nd leg.........
West Sussex Rover Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 Given our superb home record in Europe I can't see any problems for the 2nd leg......... What like Celtic last time???
Salgados Hair Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 Well done Rovers!! A very good result I think all things considered.
RoyRover Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 Two away goals sets us up nicely for the return leg, although losing the lead in the 90th minute is a real sickener. It sounds like we had plenty of chances, but only converted two of them.
West Sussex Rover Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 have we ever actually won a UEFA cup match? Because I dont think we have. Can anyone confirm? CSKA Soffia Round 1 before Celtic last time...
Dan Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 (CALMED DOWN) WELL DONE ROVERS!!.......2 away goals Home game MASSIVE now. nah attendence 12,000 we'll give in with a wimper, Hughes will blame the ref, Lucas will have a stinker, Gamst will be less than a spectator etc. Ah well you'd only put up with this all your life if you love something wouldn't you?
92er Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 CSKA Soffia Round 1 before Celtic last time... We went through but we didn't win either game.
pg Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 CSKA Soffia Round 1 before Celtic last time... I'm fairly sure that was a 1-1 draw... we drew 3-3 away and went through on away goals. We've won one European game, which was a Champions League game.
Dan Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 CSKA Soffia Round 1 before Celtic last time... We didn't win did we? We went through on away goals?
stuwilky Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 CSKA Soffia Round 1 before Celtic last time... We drew
West Sussex Rover Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 We went through but we didn't win either game. Blimey!! Got me there then mate!! lol
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 Commentators on radio Lancashire have questioned the 'communication' between our players.
92er Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 Dinnis is saying Bentley, especially, MGP and Peter were show boating rather than keeping possession.

92er Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 Against Legia Warsaw? Where Newell got a record time for a hattrick? Does that still stand? It was against Rosenberg.
tchocky Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 have we ever actually won a UEFA cup match? Because I dont think we have. Can anyone confirm? We never have, no. Got that sinking feeling at around 85 mins that they would score. We must learn to put their defenders under pressure when defending. I.e. counter attacking with 2-3 players.
MI ROVER Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 That will do better than expected although disappointing to concede in injury time. Need to finish the chances created !!
Blueboy Downunder Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 a little dissapointed that we didn't get the victory. however, 2-2 away from home in the first leg is a very good result for us. the home legs will be even more nerve racking, with the prospect of group stage qualification at stake. by the sounds of the commentators, rovers looked knackered at the end of the game, which i hope will not have an effect on them for sunday afternoon. once again, good result and looking forward to the next leg.
Finch Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 CSKA Soffia Round 1 before Celtic last time... that was away goals - 3-3 second leg 1-1 1st leg
Dan Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 (edited) Dinnis is saying Bentley, especially, MGP and Peter were show boating rather than keeping possession. Dinnis is an Arse anyway. He *loves* it when Rovers lose. Was wantaway Luca(n)s captain again? If so why? Another Euro campaige over before it's started. Edited September 14, 2006 by Dan5678
