Jan Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 I know the game isn't on TV (disgrace...), but are there any radio stations covering us vs Red Bull on Thursday night..? Eurosport has it on TV See any of the threads it's mentioned in
ihtd Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 That Eurosport listing seems wrong to me as i have checked on my Sky planner and it is saying that Derry versus PSG is being shown on channel 410 with Bayer Leverkusen being shown at 9pm against some Swiss minnows.
BuckyRover Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 your sky planner is wrong. this was only announced yesterday
unsall Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 I dont think his sky planner is wrong just heard the announcer on eurosport saying Derry is on tomorrow no mention Rovers pos confused with home leg which is on eurosport
pleasure Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 how many times!!! i'm amazed these 'bedwetters' can even switch their tv's on!
ihtd Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 I dont think his sky planner is wrong just heard the announcer on eurosport saying Derry is on tomorrow no mention Rovers pos confused with home leg which is on eurosport I know it has only just been announced but i have checked numerous times today and it still says Derry v PSG and i had Eurosport News on a few hours back and the newsreader/narrator thing that they use was saying Derry v PSG live British Eurosport 19:45 BST Its not that i don't believe the website link that has been posted on here, i'd just like it come up on my sky Box
Tris Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 Eurosport are not showing Rovers tomorrow night. They are showing Derry v PSG. They are showing Rovers home fixture on 28th. Watch LIVE coverage of the second leg on British Eurosport on Thursday September 28th from 19:45 BST.
Roaming Rover Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 It's a good job someone on here can read Radio it is then, unless there is a pub somewhere that can get it on Foreign TV
BuckyRover Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 How rubbish is that? Derry?! How can we not have more of a fan base than Derry?
rog of the rovers Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 Derry are on BBC NI aswell. Channel 890 or something like that!!! OUTRAGE
Presty On Tour Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 this is a joke!!! derry ###### city!!!
Pickering Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 The Rovers v Salzburg game should be in the pub as it is on a foreign channel: Premiere Sport Portal. check out the following website; www.satfootball.com/uefa.html
Biddy Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 The Rovers v Salzburg game should be in the pub as it is on a foreign channel: Premiere Sport Portal. check out the following website; www.satfootball.com/uefa.html Which is a German subscription channel that is nearly as expensive as sky so I doubt any pubs will have it.
herbergeehh Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 There is quite a few streaming sites showing this, won't link due to messageboard rules. I'm sure you can find them on your own..
ihtd Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 So Pleasure who you calling a bed wetter now then?????? Sky are normally very fast to update programme changes on their planner. I'm going to the home leg anyway so it doesn't matter if Eurosport are showing it or not.
pleasure Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 So Pleasure who you calling a bed wetter now then?????? anyone who didnt read the eurosport article properly!
ihtd Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 (edited) Fair enough! It is a shame that we are the only British side not on T.V. and we qualified through our league position and not via the Intertoto cup like the barcodes. Then again if you were working for a television network you would choose to show the matches they have, as they represent the possibility for higher viewing figures then what we would generate with the exception of Derry but then again they would possibly have every irish football fan watching them. Lets just face it, to a television network we do not represent a big enough audience for them. Edited September 13, 2006 by ihatethedingles
modes98 Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 Typical they decide to show the one i'm going to! Anybody who knows online streaming programs and stuff should note the game will be streamed on Shanghai Sports.
Jammy Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 (edited) I like many read the Eurosport article and it read that this Thursday's game was been shown, if you look at this today the article has changed, emphasising the 2nd leg. Obviously an error which has been corrected! More annoying because I was originally going and now NOT! Edited September 13, 2006 by Jammy
