sambo Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 Middlesbrough......0 Blackburn(now the worlds greatest side again)........1 A goal from Gallagher on 20-30 minutes YOU HEARD IT HERE 1ST
Chris_Roe Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 while a win away would be nice, Id be happy to get a solid unbeaten run together, nice little 6 or 7 games unbeaten.. so I'd happily settle for a draw... I'll go 1 - 1... Lucas Neill (well why not)
krislu Posted September 19, 2006 Posted September 19, 2006 They have a strong defence and some good attacking players. Can't really see us beating them on our current form. Boro 3 Rovers 0
RoyRover Posted September 19, 2006 Posted September 19, 2006 I don't really have a reason to be optimistic, even after we won on Sunday, but I think we'll win this one. I really hope that Nonda gets the nod in this game or Gallagher, just not Jeffers. Nonda has shown glimpses of what a handful he can be, with his size, power and pace, while Gallagher will surely be on a high after scoring on Sunday. By all accounts Middlesborough's attack has been pretty hopeless, which is good because so has our defending. Boro 1: Yakubu Rovers 2: McCarthy, Nonda
OJRovers Posted September 19, 2006 Posted September 19, 2006 I hope that we continue with the winning steak.. Boro 0 Rovers 1 (Bentley)
tchocky Posted September 19, 2006 Posted September 19, 2006 I hope that we continue with the winning steak.. Boro 0 Rovers 1 (Bentley) Ooh, mmmm. The winning steak. I'll have some of that. Preferably medium rare. 2-2 Gravy and Chips
AxesFirstTouch Posted September 19, 2006 Posted September 19, 2006 BORO 3 - ROVERS 0 POLLIT X 3 POLLIT AS A SUB WITH A HATTRICK AND GOAL LINE CLEARANCE
Flopsy Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 Thanks for that Abbey Mk2 - lose the caps please. Rovers lose 2-0 OOOOOOOOOijer 2 OG's
Ricky Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 BORO 3 - ROVERS 0 POLLIT X 3 POLLIT AS A SUB WITH A HATTRICK AND GOAL LINE CLEARANCE Would be a bit of a surprise as the dont even have a player called pollit. Porrit however is a promising young player.
Blueboy Downunder Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 i would be more than happy with keeping the good form going and coming home with a well earned point. if we play we enough to get ourselves into a winning position, then great and we must take that opportunity. 1-1
Ricky Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 If we manage to win this we will actually have made a better start than we did last season. We were on 5 points from 5 games last season (exactly the same as this time around)
pksrover Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 Boro 1 - 2 Rovers for boro: Woodgate 42 min for Rovers: McCarthy 56 min Nonda 86 min
roversmum Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 3-1 Rovers. Nonda; McCarthy and Ooijer.................(he owes us at least one!)
G Somerset Rover Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 Kind of agree with Roversmum here: Boro 0 Rovers 1 Ooijer IF our defence turns up.
pleasure Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 ideal opportunity to pick up 3 points and we will. boro 0-2 rovers ooijer bentley
baxendenblue Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 Got all the hall marks of being a scrappy 0-0. Can't wait to go hope I am wrong.
gazsimm Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 Do you reckon Hughes will drop Tugay for this one and play the Axe?
3rdpillar Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 Do you reckon Hughes will drop Tugay for this one and play the Axe? errr. NO.
