quality game, nice talking to everyone in the live chat!!!

tugay was class, bentleys goal was amazing.

mgp was top drawer tonight, he had a well good game and the team played well as a whole and got the job done lead by a free role captain lucas neill, ran all over ewood and fancied himself as a striker.

hope the injury to savage is not to serious, hughes out done trapper fairplay!!!

well good atmosphere, could have been more if we didn't miss those sitters.

bring on the groups

small town in europe is going on tour!!!

Good to hear Ooijer got Man Of The Match, did he really deserve it? Great for the Lads to be getting good results & we have a few key players missing as well. Also really positive to see so many academy players on the bench.

Sparky has surpassed Trapattoni!!!!!!!!

Back home in Leyland, smile on my face beer in the hand :o

finally the ghost is laid to rest. Following on from our trek across Europe Rovers finally advanced to the group stages in confident style.

A 2-0 home win, 4-2 agg score, clean sheet and a great effort from the supporting public. there were nearly 19000 home fans in the ground for a home European match, 32 from Salzburg ! Mark Hughes and co will be impressed.

Rovers, however, can not be too over confident as they still looked a little shaky at the back at times. Wigna for sure will punish us if we allow Camara and heskey that amount of space across the back four on Sunday.

The positives - another clean sheet, Tugay was simply immense - his pass to Lucas was pure genius, Lucas showed he has the bottle to be our leader with a fantastic performance, MGP appears to be back into form, Andre and Kishni were good, getting better and still at the same time looking miles apart, Savo was his usual self with a powerful running performance until he left with an injury, the two centre forwards worked their little cotton socks off TOGETHER and Bentley ? Goal of the season NO DOUBT.

Referee was a complete NONCE

Well done Rovers, into the group stages and 4 more guaranteed matches.

Roll on Sunday then Tuesday :brfc:
