Thats clever, how many threads did you have to go through to see i had said something so you could make that joke...?

Look all i have said is i prefer Fifa, in my opinion Fifa is better as i have been playing it for longer!! I would recomend Fifa over PES6... Its my choice, and if any of you fools thinks its not ok for me to make my decision over a flipping PS2 game then your all sad.

Notice i didnt go onto the PES6 forum to slag it off, i said what i thought on the Fifa 07 thread. If you dont like that, go bury your head in a bucket of sand...

I got rid of it in the end... Funny thing is i let my mate Daz (Manu supporter), play it and he grunted and through the controller on the floor and asked me to put Fifa on...

Cocker, bless him, saw the light round about this time last year. FIFA have been churning out the same monotonous game now for about 10 years. PES has an amazing "feel" of football which is difficult to put in words. In no way, shape or form does FIFA "blow it out of the water", unless we're talking about team names.

At the end of the day, though, you enjoy what you enjoy. I wouldn't expect too many people to agree with you on this one though. It's a complete no-brainer. And if you need me to explain why then it probably wouldn't convince you anyway.

Since starting this thread, i got rid off my xbox and got a 360 with Fifa 07. Must say the graphics are something else, in terms of the gameplay the 360's fifa takes alot more effort to crack, its like totally different game. Cant believe the like-for like realism of some of the players.

Has anyone else got this yest on the xbox 360 yet? do you know if there are any other camera angels other than tele, dynamic and end to end?

I have the 360 version and I am really getting hacked off with it.

For some reason I don't seem to be able to tackle properly (probably because I am crap). If I try and block tackle (Button B ) like on XBOX 1 FIFA then the opposition just stroll round me. If I try a pass button tackle (Button A), I tend to make the tackle but the ball pings around like a pinball, my player stops waiting for the animation to finish and the opposition come out with the ball. If I try a sliding tackle (Button X), I get a yellow card

I'm going through a strange phase with it as well in that I won the first Euro qualifier 6-1 (so scoring quite easily) and suddenly I can't score at all. Makes it more fun I suppose but it gets quite frustrating when you can't tackle and the opposition sticks one in with 2 minutes to go!

Not sure about the player likenesses, as I said earlier in the thread, I'm not sure why they always insist on poor Stephen Reid having a dodgy porn star tash. The rest are ok though.

I saw on FIFA they want me to press 3 buttons and swivel a joystick button all at the same time! Strictly long ball kick and rush for me. I did enjoy the graphics. I believe PES over here is called Winning Eleven, I've never even seen it.

Hi Biddy,

Try just running upto the player that has the ball, rather than actually making a tackle or pressing X. This seems to work i found as suddenly if you keep close to the player the ball ends up in our possession. Its weird i know but despite it being fifa the controls are so different. I like it though, i like the fact i have to work abit at it rather than just winning everything in my first season like i did on ps2 and the original xbox.

Only problem i seem to have is the text size on the main menus. Its pretty small put it that way.

I have to say i think the practise mode on the loading screens is pretty good though!

Chalk one up for Fifa in my opinion...!

Possibly the finest endorsment you will get that PES6 is a far superior game to FIFA 07. Cheers RTM WSR.

I have never lost a game on Fifa, with Pro Evo 6 iha such a huge gap between difficulties.

What an unbelievable reason for preferring a game.

Just a quick update on current games...

I recomend anyone who is getting bored of there game create a team in your home town and then create your mates as players.

I just created Worthing United. Im upfront and my mate Daz is in goal. lol.

No we havent put our stats rediculously high, they have started out as average and developed.

Anywho got a lush stadium with hills behind it, like the sussex downs and started off in the 2nd division.

Won the LDV Vans Trophy and got promoted to the 1st division... Lost the first game 1 nil but sure things will pick up!

GREAT FUN!!

Anybody know how to get the new Ukraine left back out of the Internations and into the Rovers squad on Fifa 07 on the PS2... I found him in the international selections but Kiev arent in career mode... Any ideas???

For no good reason I updated the squads and have just finished. If anyone wants me to send it via ps3, let me know but be warned - it isn't 100% accurate. Similarly, if anyone out there does have an up to date squad list or will be able to download it and send it via ps3 when the new one comes out, please let me know!

I must say the game play was alot like 06 and it took me a bit to get used to it, but the shooting mechanics we're inproved and that impressed me. I never got too much into PES so I cant comment on that, but I was slightly dissapointed by 07's lack of change and lack of improvments. That being said, I think 08 is really gonna deliever and make up where 07 missed off. Not that 07 was bad, just lacking.(And online play was absolute sh!t) But reading the new changes and modifications for 08, I'm def gonna get it. Maybe in this game Drogba won't glitch. =]
