Gav Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 Unfortunately, there were a few of the same type in the main level as well. We had the now infamous "we are the rovers , we hate P*kis" I have taken pictures of the scum behind me singing that and I'm perfectly prepared to track them down for the club at future matches so they can be banned. And we had an idiot in the lower tier giving Nazi salutes to the Feyenoord crowd. Don't the TEACH history in Blackburn any more? Or has the moron only half understood the Anne Frank story? It could have been allot worse with some of the faces in Amsterdam over the past few days. It doesn'"t make things right but it could have been worse...... I'm fecked!

Jan Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 (edited) One person on his own? Did anyone else see him/her? Until this is corroborated we'll have to give him/her the benefit of doubt and assume he's pointing at a Feyenoord fan. Unfounded accusations can actually do more harm than good. Unlike some, I wasn't drunk and can actually tell the differeince between someone pointing at someone and repeated nazi sautes (followed by what were almost certainly bursts of invective). Oh and as the moron was in my line of sight to the pitch, I could hardly miss him. Edited November 25, 2006 by Jan
Derby Blue Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 (edited) Just got back myself - echo all the previous comment. Fantastic time but just spoilt by lack of organisation getting to the stadium, to the seats and then back out again. All the stewards had to do at the was to say what was happening but they stayed silent which just wound people up even more. Was great to walk the streets of Amsterdam and see blue and white everywhere, all enjoying a fantastic trip away. Anyway, couple of vids from the night, one from the warm down including the 3 moronic dutch trying to 'have go with us all! - beware bit of bad language at one point. And one from the final whistle 'celebrations' (although struggling to upload the latter.) Will have a couple more when I've managed to have time to go through all the rest. As I say a few more to follow. Final whistle celebrations on the link. and a bit on the players coming out. All my others seem a bit naff or short to be honest but will try and edit them all together for a bit of a montage! Edited November 25, 2006 by Mansfield Blue
herbergeehh Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 Well Ewood Spark? Yeah, wasn't talking to him though..
SAS Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 right its been a messi trip ive paid 120 euros for a window had my camera stolen been permanently stoned and drunk and had a very nice wander around RLD what was the score?
Daremz Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 right its been a messi trip ive paid 120 euros for a window had my camera stolen been permanently stoned and drunk and had a very nice wander around RLD what was the score? Won, 7-1. Brad Friedel scored a stunning free-kick to seal the victory, two minutes from time. Last five goals were in injury-time. Glad to hear you enjoyed yourself in my beautiful country How's yours?
thenodrog Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 right its been a messi trip ive paid 120 euros for a window had my camera stolen been permanently stoned and drunk and had a very nice wander around RLD what was the score? Not another rovers fan thinking it's clever to put ones head through a shop window a la Krakow I hope SAS? When we eventually got in the ground ...just before kick-off ... the only seats we could find where in the upper tier in an area that had seemingly been reserved for 'the Numpties' day out. I can only presume that the crime figures for the Blackburn area dropped significantly on Thursday night ... as by my reckoning every petty criminal from the town was sat in the three rows in front of me. Directly in front of me was sat 'the chav royal family' ... from granddad, a man in his seventies declaring "Why do we have to have those two w*gs playing up front for us?" to proud mum and dad looking on approvingly as their 30+ year prodgeny tried to smash his way through the Perspex barrier to an un-timely (but not un-welcome) death. And perhaps most distressing of all, the baby of the family , a lad of about 12...being encouraged to follow in the footsteps of his belligerent elders. As for the train journey back to Amsterdam ... where do I start? I'm in a party including my wife, my mum and dad (both in their late sixties) and a father and son we had previously met in Salzburg. We manage to get on the train and find seats ... albeit singles through a carriage. First we get this big guy wandering through the carriage and totally oblivious of his audiance declaring in to his mobile (bear in mind the carriage was silent at this point) "Yhea i had a n*gger last night but I've got a little slitty-eye lined up for tonight" obvious to one and all he was discussing his Amsterdam buissenes dealings!!!! Prat. The rest of the journey consisted of lads vying to play at top volume their latest clip of Roy 'Chubby Brown' or some porn clip. Don't any body kid themselves .... there are some real scum out there basking in the reflected glow of Blackburn Rovers ... thankfully they don't judge most games glamerous enough to associate themselves with. As for the game ..... Sparky put in a bid for their No 24! You are turning into me ES! Your hitherto 'green and pleasant' view of Blackburn appears to be becoming somewhat jaundiced. Far too many of our away fans are an embarrassment to themselves, the club, the town and the rest of us. I go to very few away games now cos of the scum.
yorkblues Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 right its been a messi trip ive paid 120 euros for a window had my camera stolen been permanently stoned and drunk and had a very nice wander around RLD what was the score? so it was you who paid for bret robbie and mgp on thursday night in the red light
roversmum Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 (edited) right its been a messi trip ive 2. paid 120 euros for a window 3. had my camera stolen 1. been permanently stoned and drunk and had a very nice wander around RLD what was the score? Oh, SAS, you are so funny! If you are daft enough to be 1. then stuff like 2. and 3. happens. Such a difficult thing to learn........ Please tell me what the point is of going to a place then being permanently out of it there? I must have missed something in my education 'cos it just sounds daft to me! Still, so long as you "enjoyed" yourself ......................... Edited November 25, 2006 by roversmum
yorkblues Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 Blackburn drew 0-0 away to 2002 title winners Feyenoord in a match in Rotterdam marred by crowd trouble ?? i must have missed this then norwegian pancake nice pks
Jordan Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 Morton said he had beer thrown in his face. How could this happen as UEFA do not allow alcohol to be sold in the stadium when a UEFA cup match is being played? It was alcohol free.
herbergeehh Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 paid 120 euros for a window They don't usually charge you for the window, it's what's inside.. so I hear anyway. The match certainly wasn't marred by crowd trouble, more like lack of creativity and spark. Amsterdam didn't really have the spark I was hoping for either, even though the brownieeaters seemed to enjoy themselves. Bloody trains ruined the Thursday night out..
Jordan Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 . Its the Feyenoord fans charging at the Rovers Fans.
Derby Blue Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 . Its the Feyenoord fans charging at the Rovers Fans. Don't you just love the way that steward stands there and lets them all past him without even trying to stop it!
herbergeehh Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 What did he do, kick the wall? He seemed very pleased with his efforts..
Lee Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 Scott did you wake up when that was happening? I could see you lead down!
den Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 . Its the Feyenoord fans charging at the Rovers Fans. Hardly "charging" Jordan. As regards alcohol being banned for UEFA games, well it was on sale in the Feyenoord ground and it was on sale at Celtic a few seasons back. It must just be English games.
OhmiBRFC Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 I saw the charging and it was worse then that at one point I thought
Drummer Boy Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 Your hitherto 'green and pleasant' view of Blackburn appears to be becoming somewhat jaundiced. Far too many of our away fans are an embarrassment to themselves, the club, the town and the rest of us. I go to very few away games now cos of the scum. And by doing that, you let the "scum" win by allowing them to take the joy of watching your club (as well as theirs) play away from you - is that what you want? The best way to face them off is to keep going and behave as you would normally so that people can see we are not all like that.
adam lodge Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 Got back last night had a great time. Stayed in Den Haag wednesday night not a lot going on there, but I was only there for the match on thursday night. The game was not the best but our support was out of this world ok there were a few idiots there signing racist songs but the majority of people were well behaved and really got behind the team. To some it up had a great time and can't wait for the next time.
cloggyjimmybrfc Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 talkin about the song feyenoord sing..im surprised we dont sing "i am rovers till i die".at european games just like when eng play?
adam lodge Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 http://www.yourfilehost.com/media.php?cat=...erFeyenoord.mp3 What a cheesy but really catchey tune and we stole it off them.
RoversFan96.It Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 Great day,great people,great atmosphere...Enjoyed more than Krakow,even if I stayed in R'dam for just 19 hrs,drank too much & now feeling really bad

SD4E Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 http://www.yourfilehost.com/media.php?cat=...erFeyenoord.mp3 What a cheesy but really catchey tune and we stole it off them. we spent the entire second half singing and bouncing up and down, swinging scarfs like the rest of the masses to that tune.. do,du,du,du,du, do, do,du,du,du,du, do rooooveeerrrss, roooveerrrs! someone at ewood needs to use that backgound music and we can adopt it! fantastic trip, fantastic support. I know loads had problems with the seating not being numbered, but it was like a return to the terracing days and the atmosphere was superb.
