Perth_Rover Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 Great preview 2-2 with 19 players finishing the match
Cocker Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 I think Bellamy should be treated like any other opposition player. I don't think he deserves to be singled out for stick, but he also doesn't deserve anything like a standing ovation, one year of service and then leaving on the cheap doesn't entitle you to that. I would be surprised if he even starts. Crouch and Kuyt seem to be doing ok. Watching Wales match now and he dosent look that great at the moment. Lacking confidence and needs a goal but it better not be against us.
vyeo Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 liverfools 2 (bellamy, gerrard) rovers 0 just too bad that gerrard's suspended for the croatia game and will thus be well rested against us. and as we all know, bellamy is definitely gonna score; stick some money on him scoring to mitigate the pain we'll feel from inevitably getting screwed by the match officials again.
Rachrover Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 Looking forward to this game, I predict that I will get very drunk and Rovers will win 2-1 Benni 2 Bellamy 1
Cocker Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 I would be surprised if he even starts. Crouch and Kuyt seem to be doing ok. Right, ignore that then as it seems Kuyt might be injured
tonygreenbank Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 Kuyt was injured in Saturday`s match and is rated doubtful . However, I cant see Neill or Emerton being fit to play if they are travelling back from Oz on Thursday to play a Saturday game. Therefore, Rovers to lose 3-1 with a Savage freekick the only highspot.
ScouseRover Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 (edited) I reckon it'll be a tough game; Liverpool 1 - 1 I dunno about the Bellamy issue - he did do well for us and left saying 'Thank you'. His move to Anfield has definately affected his performance. Edited October 8, 2006 by ScouseRover
bazza Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 reminder to those travelling:- DONT BOO BELLAMY! GIVE HIM A STANDING OVATION AND SING HIS NAME! Don't Boo Lucas, either!!!
Poita Posted October 9, 2006 Posted October 9, 2006 Excellent preview Jim Im going for a 1-2 win for us. Reid and Bert ( if he plays ) for us. Got a great feeling about this game. Cant wait! Deffiently is great timing for Reid to come back. We will need him and the midfield to really step up.
SuperStella Posted October 9, 2006 Posted October 9, 2006 For the first time ever, I am not going to Liverpool. Not paying £34 (ridiculous) when I've got Poland and Rotterdam to finance. What are the odds Gerrard and Crouch wont be as woeful and wasteful against us, than they were for England?
pleasure Posted October 9, 2006 Posted October 9, 2006 Don't Boo Lucas, either!!! i wont be. only morons boo their own players!
adam lodge Posted October 9, 2006 Posted October 9, 2006 I think it will be a close game and i think we could get a draw at least 1-1 with Benni getting a late goal.
SuperStella Posted October 9, 2006 Posted October 9, 2006 Team: - ------------------FRIEDEL---------------- EMERTON---ZURAB---OOIJER---NEILL BENTLEY--- SAVAGE---TUGAY---PEDERSEN -------------NONDA---McCARTHY--------
DanLad Posted October 9, 2006 Posted October 9, 2006 Are Nonda and Big Bad Brad going to be fit, does anyone know?
Cocker Posted October 9, 2006 Posted October 9, 2006 Are Nonda and Big Bad Brad going to be fit, does anyone know? As much as I have heard (and take this with a pinch of salt) but Brad will def play and Nonda is touch and go (missed his international)
colin Posted October 9, 2006 Posted October 9, 2006 Good preview Jim, keeping the standard as high as ever. One day someone will create a book of these and it will be a best seller (In WHS in Blackburn.)
Cocker Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 Is there a certain pub you boys meet up in before the match on Sat? If so, where is it?
Cocker Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 arkles, reet outside away end near enough Cool, will try and get in
cn174 Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 arkles, reet outside away end near enough Tis always a bit crowded on a Liverpool home game but we always manage to get ourselves a little corner
SAS Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 yeh i remember last year, i was in there at 11am it was fair empty then but they put bouncers on nearer kick off and dont let people in if its full
Hughesy Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 Last year in there i nearly got my head caved in by some mad scousers! It was funny!
AggyBlue Posted October 11, 2006 Posted October 11, 2006 Scousers 0 : 1 Rovers. My only worry with this match is that the ref will gift them the points.
OscarRaven Posted October 11, 2006 Posted October 11, 2006 1-0 to Liverpool result of overly-clumsy Lucas Neil foul resulting in a penalty. Replays will show a wink between Neil and Bellamy before the incident, Lucas will leave the club in disgrace and Mark Hughes will be forced to resign for making Lucas capatain at Anfield.
