Cocker Posted August 8, 2007 Author Posted August 8, 2007 Anyone seen Kill Zone 2 on PS3? Looks Mint - Cant wait for that! Also saw Metal Gear solid the other day - that looked class too! Yup, they do both look class. Metal Gear does look complicated though Quote
Damage Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 Anyone play Shadowrun on 360 or PC? Just bought it off ebay and it looks great in training mode but not done the multiplayer in anger yet (scared to get my ass whipped!). Any tips out there? Quote
Wolverine Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 Speak to Wolverine who plays it on PS3 and seems to love it. Will be pretty much the same game really The should be a review of it on the gametrailers website which should answer all of your questions about it Actually, found it - Click Oblivion is my life. Sad, I know. Quote
Rovermatt Posted August 9, 2007 Posted August 9, 2007 (edited) Anyone played The Darkness yet? I got a used copy from eBay yesterday and it's really good so far. Edited August 9, 2007 by Rovermatt Quote
Eddie Posted August 9, 2007 Posted August 9, 2007 Has anybody played The Elder Scrolls on the X-box 360? I get very bored with shoot em ups and platform games and fancy something a bit different. It's a good game, although I feel you have to put in a lot of effort to get into it, once you have done that you'll enjoy it. Quote
M-K Posted August 9, 2007 Posted August 9, 2007 Anyone played The Darkness yet? I got a used copy from eBay yesterday and it's really good so far. I thought it was great. Only took a couple of days to finish, though, it's really short. If you like that one, Bioshock will blow you away. It's incredibly dark - you have to 'harvest' little girls for their life force. robborover Posted August 9, 2007 Posted August 9, 2007 Has anybody played The Elder Scrolls on the X-box 360? I get very bored with shoot em ups and platform games and fancy something a bit different. i've got it on the 360. great game, graphics and depth. but you have to devote yourself to it or you'll lose the enjoyment. the achievements are good as well as they relate to the game so you can't get them all quickly. it's like final fantasy but you can melee and make spells, pick locks etc... Damage Posted August 9, 2007 Posted August 9, 2007 Anyone played The Darkness yet? I got a used copy from eBay yesterday and it's really good so far. Campaign is good fun but multiplayer stinks! It looks great but for me best part about it is the dialogue - outrageously foul-mouthed and extremely funny. In one of the film clips between levels our hero, Jackie, reminisces about being down in the subway. Somewhat like ...... "Ahh I had my first kiss down here at 15. Hooker by the name of Candy!" pause ...... "I remember she crossed her legs .... and broke my sunglasses!" Hilarious. Downside is that my son has to sneak gameplay time when his mum is out of the house. Quote
revolutionrock! Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 Thinking of getting NBA 2k7 and NHL for xbox 360 for Xbox Live mainly but for the special feature on NBA where you create your own player and train him up etc. Quote
M-K Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 Bioshock demo is available on Xbox Live now. Well worth downloading. Quote
Eddie Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 Thinking of getting NBA 2k7 and NHL for xbox 360 for Xbox Live mainly but for the special feature on NBA where you create your own player and train him up etc. Not really the best part of the game, but it's ok. Quote
roversyoyo Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 Bioshock demo is available on Xbox Live now. Well worth downloading. Looks like a contender for game of the year. Played the demo last night, awesome game. Going to buy it on the PC though, since its available on steam. Quote
M-K Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 Bioshock has got the highest review scores I can recall seeing - the lowest it scored anywhere so far is 94%. Get it on 360 for the achievements or PC for the better controls (achievements for me) Other interesting stuff coming up: MySims on Wii is really great, like a doll's house that you can build yourself. Your wife / girlfriend / kids will love it. Warhawk looks like it'll take the place of Resistance on PS3. Reminds me a bit of Shadowrun with vehicles and better graphics. Quote

You know a game is going to be graphically excellent when the FMV at the start finishes and you sit there like a lemon until you realise you are in control! Quote
Biddy Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 What a freaky and addictive game bioshock is. I played for ages tonight and had to force myself to stop. Excellent. Quote
American Rover12 Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 Anyone see the hype for assassins creed on 360? Game looks pretty good. Quote
Cocker Posted August 22, 2007 Author Posted August 22, 2007 Does anyone else think this looks too complicated? Click Quote
Shevchenko Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 Yeah that looks way to complicated. But also, surprisingly, it looks very cool. I'm actually interested to see how this "be a pro" mode is going to work. I would totally get the game if that mode actually works. Superstar mode in Madden is brilliant, but playing different positions in NFL football is perhaps easier. Quote
Biddy Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 That does look cool but my god I can see Man Utd and Ronaldo being the most irritating team to play against because of it. Quote

American Rover12 Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 (edited) trick stick is always more work then good, and you just wind up using it for first touches and lane changes haha Edited August 23, 2007 by American Rover12 Quote
M-K Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 I can definitely recommend Space Giraffe on the 360, if you're into shooters. The visuals are absolutely insane but if you give it 30 minutes or so to get used to it, it's fantastic. And it's only 400 points, which is about three quid. Not much of a risk. Quote
Hughesy Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 Cant believe Tiger woods 08 is out on all formats this week, but not PS3!! Quote
