Alan75 Posted October 21, 2006 Posted October 21, 2006 Tomorrow’s game against Bolton, is a big test for the future of football, especially in Blackburn. A failure by supporters to respond to the clubs ticket reduction initiative for the game against Bolton, could have a major impact on future pricing of football. The football world will be watching to see how successful Rovers initiative has affected attendances. A high turn out could result in reduced pricing throughout the league, however a poor response could result in inflated costs, as clubs attempt to balance their finances. How can supporters in the future ever legitimately complain again and blame ticket pricing as the reason for not attending, if they do not take up the clubs offer of reduced ticket prices for a local derby. It is now down to supporters to prove that if The Price is Right attendances will increase. Rovers v Bolton Sunday. ticket prices Adults £15 Seniors £5 Juniors £5
