The1mattjansen Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 That is a completely full strength squad for Chelsea at the moment, and as such i can't see us going through for one minute. Will be strange for them to play in such an empty stadium but it looks as though all the superstars will be out.
gazsimm Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 i think Hughes should start with Jeffers and Roberts up front tonight, Benny and Nonda were looking tired in the second half on sunday and with FJ and JR paste i think they could cause problems
speeeeeeedie Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 Will be strange for them to play in such an empty stadium but it looks as though all the superstars will be out. You'd think that there would be plenty of bandwagon Billy's jumping on this one. We are playing the current league champions in a knockout game with loads of tickets available. If we were closer to London would they bring thousands? How many would Man U bring in the same situation? What about us? Is it me or do Rovers fans not really care about Chelsea. They are fast becoming the team of choice for fans over here.
CAPT KAYOS Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 Is it me or do Rovers fans not really care about Chelsea. I don't and I won't be there tonight
gazsimm Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 I don't and I won't be there tonight [/quote) why u not going tonight do u live far way?
pleasure Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 can't see there being more then 18000 down at ewood tonight especially with the weather being awfull we'll be lucky if there's 10 on! (thousand).
James No. 7 Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 (edited) Prediction: 1-0 to the Rovers after 120 minutes. Pedersen Gamst to score from a penalty kick. Edited October 25, 2006 by James No. 7
BuckyRover Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 I think we will win on penalties. It's a funny old game
Fife Rover Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 Does anyone know if tonight's game is on any UK TV channel?
BuckyRover Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 I believe Man Utd V Crewe is on Sky Why, I just don't know
Ozz Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 Been pouring down all day, could lead to an interesting playing surface. Or a postponement.

No not really (Wigan) Just nowadays just don't have enough free cash to justify spending on Football - made the decision as per last season that I will not be attending the cup games regardless of price. - except the European ones. On top of that - just had to fork out for decorators and new carpets at home and I am away this weekend. Also need to save funds with XMAS coming up and the possibility of us progressing in Europe. Is anybody else having problems with posting /replying to posts as it doesn't appear to be working... MODS??
tchocky Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 Good man Capt. You've been good and explained to officer Gazsimm why you will not be attending. If only the rest of the board, or indeed the citizens of Lancashire would do the same.
cn_barlow Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 personally i don't give a damn about chelsea.....if we were playing North End or Burnley or a local prem team then i would have gone..but as it stands i'd rather save my money for other games than go tonight
Exiled_Rover Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 Been pouring down all day, could lead to an interesting playing surface. Or a postponement. Especially with that microclimate at Ewood Park

If only the rest of the board, or indeed the citizens of Lancashire would do the same. Poor man Tchocky aka Daniel. You forgot to help Capt quote multiple posts. You are still an Admin chappy? I'll not be attending as I can't fit in the 12,000 mile trip in between work tonight and tomorrow. Edited October 25, 2006 by SouthAussieRover
CAPT KAYOS Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 2-1 Rovers. We don't have carpets. ( ) Oh look - reply works for you bobski Unfortunatley you won't have to put up with me tonight - will you miss me??
roversmum Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 (edited) I'll not be attending as I can't fit in the 12,000 mile trip in between work tonight and tomorrow. It's any excuse for some people Incidentally, just noticed this GGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR England or not, I can't stand JT Edited October 25, 2006 by roversmum
adopted scouser Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 I can see the ground from where I am now, but the rain's coming down sideways. Bugger it.
USRoverME Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 Hard to argue with what Terry says in that one, roversmum. Hard to not see Chelsea coming alive at some point and really dominating some team. I don't think it will be Rovers today, and I didn't see any place where he says it would be us.
