Finch Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Nancy are playing for a draw. Our performance hasn't warrented a result Poor free kick by Savage in a good area.

West Sussex Rover Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 (edited) Interesting how Nondas been left on the bench. I think this is possibly more of a experimental match for Sparky, trying a few new options... How are our lads fairing then? Who's doing well and who are doing pants? DP Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Lucas Neill, what a guy.. what a captain!!! Not fit to where the shirt blah blah
West Sussex Rover Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Dont tell me Lucas has just scored?
James No. 7 Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Great player Lucas Finally a positive post from Jim. Only took you 4400 or so posts. Well played that man Lucas Neill!!!
spanishblue Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Get in there. Finish top of the group. Not deserved but who cares. Roll on Saturday.
Bobby G Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Did he run up to the BB End and stick it up them? I thought I saw him running back towards them, what did he do?
jim mk2 Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Awful game, totally undeserved victory, but that's footie. Todd probably out Saturday; only one central defender available.
squaylor Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 It's always tremendous when a team obviously playing for a draw gets undone right at the death. Even sweeter when it involves the Rovers, of course.
Finch Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 I cant believe that result. Nancy took their foot off the gas towards the end but I never thought we could do it. We are top of the league

Mr. E Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 heh we're cruising in UEFA but worthless in the premiership a true english team, if there ever was one.
Wolverine Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 For me, Nolan has earnt a place in the first team should todds injury keep him out. I am looking forward to the Lucas debate resuming shortly...
Presty On Tour Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 top! top! top of the league!! small town in europe, luv it all!!! lucas neill is a football hooligan!!
AndyH16 Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 For me, Nolan has earnt a place in the first team should todds injury keep him out. I am looking forward to the Lucas debate resuming shortly... Really? Ok it's his senior team debut but I saw a few occasions where he was almost caught out with holding on to the ball. He ran his luck with that offside in the second half too. He did make the odd decent run though.
OhmiBRFC Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 lucas wont win anyone over with that celebration Last goal he'll score for rovers is probs more important then any he has,
Bobby G Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 How did he celebrate exactly? Also, I dont know how Nolan has "earnt" a first team place after a 60 minute cameo in which defensively he didnt look all that composed!

Of course, should anyone more senior be fit then they should play, but he should be on the bench. I only say this as Jim made the point we may only have one centre back left. I'd like to see Derbyshire instead of Nonda as he seems promising and more active. Edited December 13, 2006 by Wolverine
tchocky Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Yes! Nicely done! When is the draw for the next round?
