Interesting how Nondas been left on the bench. I think this is possibly more of a experimental match for Sparky, trying a few new options...

How are our lads fairing then? Who's doing well and who are doing pants?

It's always tremendous when a team obviously playing for a draw gets undone right at the death. Even sweeter when it involves the Rovers, of course.

Get in there. Finish top of the group. Not deserved but who cares. Roll on Saturday.

I always remember the performance and result at Tottenham last season in times like this to fight off that nagging guilt. ;)

For me, Nolan has earnt a place in the first team should todds injury keep him out. I am looking forward to the Lucas debate resuming shortly...

Really? Ok it's his senior team debut but I saw a few occasions where he was almost caught out with holding on to the ball. He ran his luck with that offside in the second half too.

He did make the odd decent run though.

Yeah, a bit of inexperience showing through, but he played better than expected. Of course, should anyone more senior be fit then they should play, but he should be on the bench. I only say this as Jim made the point we may only have one centre back left.

I'd like to see Derbyshire instead of Nonda as he seems promising and more active.

How did he celebrate exactly?

Also, I dont know how Nolan has "earnt" a first team place after a 60 minute cameo in which defensively he didnt look all that composed!

He ran to Blackburn End and cupped his hand upto N01
