grizfoot Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 I would go with: ---------Friedel--------- Neill - Ooijer - Todd - Gray Bentley - Tugay - Savage - Peter Derbyshire - Beni 2 - 0 to Rovers Crowd a little over 11,000 I think they'll be more than 11,000 , well just about anyway. Come On Rovers, I reckon 2-1 (Derbyshire & Pedersen)

den Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Get there early. Emergency road works on Livesey Branch Road.
Jordan Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Get there early. Emergency road works on Livesey Branch Road. Not knowing Blackburn too well do you think that would effect traffic coming in from the A666 from Clitheroe way?
Gav Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Not knowing Blackburn too well do you think that would effect traffic coming in from the A666 from Clitheroe way? Not at all you'll be fine.
RoverInWigan Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 shouldnt do m8, it will effect those coming from darwen the mose and those who get off the M way at darwen
AggyBlue Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Get there early. Emergency road works on Livesey Branch Road. It says near the Ewood end. Anyone know how near the end?
Ozz Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Get there early. Emergency road works on Livesey Branch Road. That'll be them 4,000 holes still.
Manchester Blue Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 It's a sell out Unless I've missed it have you ever told us what happened about you trying to get into Feyenoord?
rog of the rovers Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Blood the youngsters, if we win great, if not then bring on Benfica!!
eddiemd Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 I would love to see Matt Derbyshire start tonight, I thought his second half performance on Sat was outstanding and warrants a starting place in a match like this
Oklahoma Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Blood the youngsters, if we win great, if not then bring on Benfica!! Benfica only in the final, please!
Radagast Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Tricky one. On the surface it doesn't mean too much, but the last thing we need just now is another defeat. And on the other hand, putting out as full a team as we can and telling them to go hell for leather probably isn't the smartest move either, with regards to injuries. Take it as it comes I suppose, but obviously we want to be finishing as high in the table as possible (you can thank me for that breathtaking insight anytime).
promoted2001 Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Do we get easier opposition if we finish top of the group? I completely forgot we were playing tonight. Got my £2.50 ticket and everything! Oh well, might be a reserve team anyway!
Oklahoma Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 If we finish top, we get one of teams that was 3rd in the Uefa cup groups. So, in theory, those teams are worst than the ones that finished 3rd in Champions league groups.
Bing Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 ROVERS: Friedel, Neill, Ooijer, Todd, McEveley, Bentley, Mokoena, Savage, Peter, Gallagher, Derbyshire Subs: Brown, Tugay, Nonda, McCarthy, Pedersen, Nolan, Gray.
Exiled_Rover Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 ROVERS: Friedel, Neill, Ooijer, Todd, McEveley, Bentley, Mokoena, Savage, Peter, Gallagher, Derbyshire Subs: Brown, Tugay, Nonda, McCarthy, Pedersen, Nolan, Gray. Well worth going then, about time the kids got a start.
Welshrover1981 Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Good to see the young ones get a start. It will be a good test for them and to prove to Hughes and us that they are worthy to push the first 11. Also good to see gallagher given a chance and also Jay.
AxesFirstTouch Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Bravo Hughes! Although if Gally and Derbys dont score, cue people saying they arent good enough
BuckyRover Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Bravo Hughes! Although if Gally and Derbys dont score, cue people saying they arent good enough The same could be said for Nonda, except that he has been here 3 months rather than for his entire career.
modes98 Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Well i've asked for youth to be given a chance and it has! I hope we win this and the youth system proves people wrong.
Finch Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Just before kick off James Richardson on Euro sport said about our away record that we have about the same success on the road as a Robin Reliant
