West Sussex Rover Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 (edited) Quick question, surely if one of our players handled the ball in our own penalty area and intentionally obstructed the ball. Its a red card... See, this is the thing i dont get nowadays... I dont think even the referies know the rules... I mean if games are going to be decided by poor decisions like this then why dont they start our games giving the oposition a 1 goal head start?! Edited November 5, 2006 by Rover The Moon

Shevchenko Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 no need to panic yet, still another half to go and we play in the 2nd halfs! Aaaaaand cue panic....NOW!
Mr. E Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 Zurab completely mishandles the ball and Angel makes it 2-0.
budha Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 Khizanishvili tries to clear from inside the penalty box, but straight to the Angel's feet and he gets one-on-one with Friedel and 2-0.
Flopsy Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 2-0 now Angel after some shocking defending from Ralph little We're looking very tired at teh moment
Presty On Tour Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 2-0, well we make it so hard for us, keep the faith
AndyH16 Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 Zurab was slightly unlucky. Looked like he was running backwards and the ball (passed from Gray) got stuck under his feet so he quickly tried to get his boot on it which hit Angel and allowed him to run through.
AggyBlue Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 (edited) Gray, under presure plays a three yard pass back to Zurab on the edge of the box and who is already under pressure from Angel. Zurab promptly panics, Angel takes the ball from him and smacks it in the net. Edited November 5, 2006 by AggyBlue
Dan Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 Is Gray as bad as Peacock and Dailly were? I think so.
Mr. E Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 it's scary just how dependant on a player we become. When Nelsen was in the team our defence was far from rock-solid but still quite firm, and the rest of the team could confidentally build up from that. Now we just seem unsure of ourselves and bend over to any team that really puts us under pressure.
Dan Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 (edited) Benni off Jeffers on, Tugay off Peter on. Horse bolting stable door etc..... Edited November 5, 2006 by Dan5678
Presty On Tour Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 whu have scored, harewood 89 mins. 1-0
Exiled_Rover Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 The Chelski Carling Cup game team is looking sillier and sillier. We're clearly absolutely shattered - moreso with the ridiculous injury list we have, yet Hughes has continued to play his first team every match.
AggyBlue Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 Benni off Jeffers on, Tugay off Peter on. Horse bolting stable door etc..... Just seen it, I'm on a five minute delay. Tugay ran straight down the tunnel.
Mr. E Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 whu have scored, harewood 89 mins. 1-0 glad to see their taking full advantage of the inspiration we gave them last week...
Presty On Tour Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 Just seen it, I'm on a five minute delay. Tugay ran straight down the tunnel. what's up with tugay then?

Dan Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 what's up with tugay then? He has been closed down too much and hasn'y had any space to work his magic, plus with the penknife being so woefull we have been awfully short in midfield.
stuwilky Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 Ooijer once again has given away a penalty. I had high hopes for him, but this is getting silly. You clearly havnt seen it krislu. Never a penalty in a million years.
G Somerset Rover Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 Utd up next as well. We could quite easily get dragged in to the bottom three if we're not careful.
Dan Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 You clearly dont understand the LAWS either. Well if they have stopped a goal from being scorded with their hand then yes it's a a red surely?
West Sussex Rover Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 (edited) You clearly havnt seen it krislu. Never a penalty in a million years. Stu your obviously not satisfied unless your correcting someone all the time are you?? Sad really... Prediction: Mark Hughes at the end of the match will say we played well, however the penalty changed the whole match, if that had not have happened who knows how the game would have progressed... Simple fact is, were lacking in at least 2 defenders and 1 solid midfielder and they need to be purchased ASAP... Edited November 5, 2006 by Rover The Moon
