Despite a late goal by David Bentley, it was to late for Rovers to claw back a result that would have continued West Hams losing run.

Rovers today paid the penalty of not having strength in depth. Without Nonda, Savage, Emerton, Reid, Nelsen and Pedersen they lost Roberts through injury, early in the first half.

Without the experienced first team players, Rovers struggled to make any impact on the game, which resulted in a 2-1 defeat.
