West Sussex Rover Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Got to say his goal TODAY was very good... He took it well and finished superbly... Just wish he could be like that week in week out. if he was im sure he'd get a place on the bench more regularly... Lets hope he gets a little more time...

roversmum Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 He won't be getting time for a week or two. Looks like he has the popular groin strain. Still, it's nice to see him keeping up with things; hamstrings are so last season
thenodrog Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 aye just seen hias goal ..I AGREE THE LADS SHYITE AND NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO WEAR THE ROVERS SHIRT.. Ahem...... Whilst I did not include shooting I actaully did give his highest marks for 1st touch, dribbling and vision all of which were employed in his goal so thats OK then innit? As for the goal it was an excellent finish without boubt but one swallow does not a summer make. There are still too many weaknesses in his overall game.
Neil Weaver Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Some words from Hughes yesterday about Gally............ "Gally is probably one of the most technical players that we have, but at times he needs to be more forceful in his game. "But when his touch is good and true then he can affect the game in a positive way and that is exactly what he did."
tcj_jones Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 I've always liked Gallagher but recently he has looked far too lightweight and low on confidence when travelling with the ball. I'm totally 50 / 50 over him; he shows flashes of real quality but then doesn't seem to have the ability to enforce himself on a game, which I guess is what Hughes is getting at.
ABBEY Posted January 8, 2007 Author Posted January 8, 2007 low on confidence??mmmm lets see he never gets a chance and when he has this season hes scored.
grizfoot Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 And a brilliant taken goal it was as well. Surely that must get him a spot on the bench at the very least for the Arsenal match.
modes98 Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 2 weeks minimum it said on SSN. Annoying after a good outing on sunday.
Presty On Tour Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 yeah i seen it said 2 weeks lay off on ssn. great goal against everton too. nonda maybe back for the arsenal though i can see him only making the bench with benni and derbyshire starting upfront.
