Lathund Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 Pretty impressive to have five (Or perhaps six) international captains in the team, even if some are ex-captains. I seem to recall Brad getting the armband for us sometime? And while I'm not a fan of goalkeepers as captains, he's certainly the right type of personality for it IMO. If not him, then Savage or Tugay should get it. Ooijer seems like a leader too, but hasn't been at the club very long.

Presty On Tour Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 anybody know the team yet? tugay i hope gets the armband!
nellybc Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 Brad Bert, Andre, Gray, Henchoz Tugay, MGP, Savage, Bentley Chris, Benni Peter, Brown, Axe, Jay and Francis Jeffers make up the bench
krislu Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 If Savage is match fit we might win Friedel Emerton - Todd - Ooijer - Neill Bentley - Savage - Todd - Peter McCarthy - Nonda
philipl Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 nellybc has got it right! Ooijer captain. Berbatov and Keane on the bench for Spuds- very odd.
Mr. E Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 sweet jesus! Goal of the season, surely. WOW.
James No. 7 Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 Far out!!! It was a brilliant goal! Just as good as his other screamer!!! On the volley from a clearance too!!!

3recurring Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 Penalty for Spurs. Red card for Tugay. 1-1
James No. 7 Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 What the (Please don't use that word again)??? No contact from what I saw.
Mr. E Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 ###### referees. pieces of ###### ###### i hope they drown in ###### vomit. worthless retarded ######.
USABlue Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 (edited) Handball!! Surprise surprise, not given. I am sick to death of getting screwed by official. Sick sick sick Very slight contact for the pen, not intentional, a theatric dive it was more the way Toogs went in I think than the actual foul that swayed them. Edited November 19, 2006 by USABlue
AxesFirstTouch Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 To be fair, Spurs have had numerous chances, Rovers again creating hardly anything
Mr. E Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 no, this has just crossed all lines. it's not normal for the opposing team to get away with murder every single game, while for the slightest, most murky situations they can hardly contain themselves to blow for the spot. it gets to the point when blaming bad luck and simply poor officiating look ridiculous. A conspiracy is what this is. A goddamn, bloody conspiracy.
Alex Rover Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 Two disgraceful decisions. Red card for Tugay and handball by Mido in the box. Appalling.
modes98 Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 What a ******* joke. Ref's and assistants are paid to get decisions right so why do they get all of ours totally wrong. He lost all control of the game and i wasn't suprised to see that vicious elbow by ghaly at the end, only suprise was that the ref took his eyes out of his arse and actually saw it! Penalty for them was dodgy to say the least, it looks to me as if ghaly stood on tugs' foot and the red card is a disgrace. Mido shouldn't have been still on the pitch to handball it and a more blatent handball you won't see. The assistant went to give it with his right arm and then didn't! Encouraging performance with 10 men, but once again screwed over by the officials.
yellowsubmarine Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 Mido should have recieved his 2nd yellow card when he handled the ball in the box! Spud players are ALL CHEATS!
James No. 7 Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 I would really like to know what the hell was going through the minds of those referees. All three of them fluffed it today.
