Ricky Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 Nobody wants to take my side because they know that you will just make these types of accusations. That's why more people haven't registered to side with me. Nope, wrong Vinjay. More people haven't sided with you as you are clearly as mad as a box of frogs.
gazsimm Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 i still think the site will be better off with Vinjay back, it will be less boring as it has been today zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
AggyBlue Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 i still think the site will be better off with Vinjay back, it will be less boring as it has been today No No, we've enough with Theno's rants and loony ideas
-foreverrovers- Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 an interseting read if nothing else.as someone previously posted some goods ppints made but some bad,bad ones too.does this guy forget where we finished last season?.we have had a bad run in the last 5 games but so do all teams outside the top 5 at some stage of the season...it happens!!!.personally i would have predicted this position at this stage of the season.no team can cop with a uefa cup run and the premiership.it normally always affects form.so get used to it! however we bought in 8.5 million over the summer through sales of bellamy and kuqi.we bought in i think 7 or 8millions worth of players?.well anyway,we should have been looking to build on a 6th place finnish (natrual progression) and looking to add depth to our squad for the uefa.we didnt.its there for all to see.i know though that hughes prefers to keep a warchest back for the jan sales,so i am hoping he splashes the cash in jan on QUALITY not QAUNTITY.god we need it.an attacking midfielder to link play between our midfield and our strikers.nonda and mccarthey are being forced to play with their backs to goal all the time feeding on scraps and this is not how they play.also another another striker to add more depth to our attacking line.jeffers will not score more than 2 goals this season, and he is meant 2 be our 3rd choice striker!. anyway why do u lot call vinjay yajniv?i know it his name back to front but why?,same goes for calling bolton notlob??? answers on a postcard please!
Ricky Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 I don't think we call him yajniv. I know thats what name he registred on the official site as so it might be to do with that. He's still barmy
Ste B Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 anyway why do u lot call vinjay yajniv?i know it his name back to front but why?,same goes for calling bolton notlob??? answers on a postcard please! I dont think you should be prepared to pursue this line of inquiry any longer as I think this is getting too silly! Notlob is from Monty Pythons dead parrot sketch, which is about as silly as Vinjays rantings.
ihateburnley Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 Let's get Vinjay back and spice the place up!
Ste B Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 So how many games without a win now? Found out for yourself as you obviously don't seem to have noticed the recent collapse in league form. I said it would happen. Star player sold-leads to struggle in league form. Does it look like I'm wrong. 4 strikers have been signed. McCarthy's been too inconsistent. Nonda hasn't made any impression...he's strong though so was that oaf Kuqi. Peter Taylor should have learnt from his Akinbiyi error. Roberts is injured following a series of inefficent displays and Jeffers hasn't found top form. The Doctor of spin Hughes won't admit it. Look at the signs though he's clearly beginning to panic. Yiannakis Okkas? Why does he want to sign an unknown forward. He found Nelsen of course but he isn't going to find much success taking the unknown route. It's clear that he's lost faith in his other strikers. Surely when a manager signs 4 strikers in pre season he should stick with them for the entire campaign. I'm not surprised Okkas would be sold for a low fee. Can't expect the Walkers to release any funds in January after all. Williams I'm sure will give himself another nie pay rise though. Do you expect me to pleased about the downturn in form? Most premier league fans wouldn't be happy so why should I? Somebody on the boards said that Rovers fans would protest if things were going badly. So why when did Graeme Souness get booed on his return? Why weren't they booing and calling for him to be sacked? I doubt Williams would have sacked him anyway. Too scared of Souness I expect. Rovers fans didn't protest because they ahve gone soft. Roy had an excellent first season. It only took a couple of months for fans to turn on him. Sherwood was booed for wanting to leave. Neill gets cheered. Why? Rovers fans have gone soft. I don't care if you don't like me saying that. I don't like Rovers fans singing "small town in Europe" but I still go to Ewood and put up with it. Yet you never get censored. You expect me to feel a close affiliation with Rovers fans when you chant stuff like that. I'm not allowed to criticise yet you're allowed to chant things like that? I should be thanked for putting up with it. BRISA keep talking about improving attendances. Yet you are pleased that a total of TEN members showed up at your recent meeting. Apparently the low total was due to the cold weather. It's not Antartica. You are supposed to be premier league fans and yet you're pleased that 10 members showd up. A conference club would be dissapointed with a total like that. You expect anyone to take BRISA seriously? What this club needs is an activist. It could be me but I don't have enough backing. "He must be Vinjay." That's what you say whenever someone agrees with me. It's no wonder people won't take my side. I might be slightly mad...mad because Williams and the Walkers are ruining this once great football club. Did I mention that TEN people showed upn at the recent BRISA meeting. To show how highly BRISA appreciate their members they couldn't even remember the names of some of them. Look at the minutes on their site. Don't bother looking at the messageboard it's been nearly a month since anyone posted there. BRISA have gone into this with a completely half hearted appproach. Don't give excuses about being "underestimating" the task of running the organisation. Not good enough. Just like the current league position yet you consider this aceptable. Hughes is lucky that Jack isn't here. He would be fortunate not to have been sacked by now. Of course Jack and me share something in common which most Rovers fans don't. Neither of us tolerate failure. So why don't I attend your meetings and try and make a difference? You have offered and I've declined...partly because I wouldn't put it past you to commit assault. The main reason is that I don't want any association with damaged goods. Give your members back the money they wasted and start afresh. Take the meetings into a professional enviroment. I understand why fans frequent bars but are these mettings supposed to be about the club or an excuse for a drinking session? You don't want to use club facilities. Well I don't see where else yoiu could find a professional working enviroment. That's right working enviroment. I can't see any diference BRISA have made regarding matchday experience. You expect fans to buy a membership? How do you know I'm not already a member? I'm not because I could see gaping holes in your organisation from the start. I might have made a few comments but they weren't well recieved. Dosen't mater who I mention I still get censored. How much is Williams paying you again? What other Premier league fans would tolerate what I've had to put up with? No doubt you will say something like go and suport another club then. No you need to be held accountable for your mistakes. In your next newsletter (providing everyone gets it this time) you should apologise to your members. It's the least they deserve. Then you should wake up and see the damage that Williams is doing. Somebody has to stop him. At most clubs I would be hailed as a martyr. I will not give up my views for the sake of winning popularity contests. I will not tolerate failure. I will not tolerate sleeping owners who couldn't care less about this club. I will not tolerate the sorry situation this club has fallen into. If you don't like that you and "Saint" John Williams can go to hell. Lokking at the current position I feel like I'm already there. well what can I say to that ?
Alex Rover Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 I knew our recent league results would have a silver lining I just wasn't expecting it to come from Comedy Vinjay. Keep it up mate, I bet you've got Fleming worried
philipl Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 Bob can put his feet up and his pen down. Vinjay has written the November review for him. I'm sure those of us who have the occasional peep at our unfortunate neighbours would be rolling in the aisles Ste if you copied and pasted this stuff to the Clarets Mad website. Seriously, anyone ever met this guy and lived to tell the tale?
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 (edited) Star player sold-leads to struggle in league form. Does it look like I'm wrong. 4 strikers have been signed. bob fleming Posted November 29, 2006 Posted November 29, 2006 I bet you've got Fleming worried Not at all. All the doors and windows are locked and bolted. Bob can put his feet up and his pen down. Vinjay has written the November review for him. Almost word for word philip. I'll have to re-write something tonight. Damn that Vinjay and his satirical scribblings.
philipl Posted November 29, 2006 Posted November 29, 2006 Revealed: Vinjay is front man for Icelandic biscuit baker. (or some equivalent...)
Paul Posted November 29, 2006 Posted November 29, 2006 Vinjay - So why don't I attend your meetings and try and make a difference? You have offered and I've declined...partly because I wouldn't put it past you to commit assault. This bit I love. Last time I had a fight was in the school playground, mind you I can see den or Alan75 turning a bit nasty after they've had a gallon or so!
dave birch Posted November 29, 2006 Posted November 29, 2006 Why is everyone giving vinjay the space to air his views? The guy is clearly paranoid. Lock the thread, in 15 minutes his monotonous rants will be forgotten.
bob fleming Posted November 29, 2006 Posted November 29, 2006 Lock the thread, in 15 minutes his monotonous rants will be forgotten. I doubt it, den and Alan are going to knock his block off. Maybe not this week, maybe not this year. One day though.... It'll be like an episode of The Equaliser.
Ricky Posted November 29, 2006 Posted November 29, 2006 He's moved up on the Bill Bailey Insanity rating from "mad as a box of frogs" to "mad as a bag of squirrels"
Flopsy Posted November 29, 2006 Posted November 29, 2006 I think Vinjay's medication needs may have to be reassessed with the possibilty of some more beta blockers. It seems to me that Vinjay is against: 1) The Fans 2) The Walkers 3) John Williams 4) Mark Hughes 5) Mrs Williams 6) Mrs Williams' Tortoise Alan Could anyone explain why he doesnt like a small town in Europe? And why he seems so upset that we did so well last year? Is it because all his moaning has no point? And as for common assualt? Thats Libel and to be honest Mr Vinjay, you have done nothing worth the effort to beat seven shades of crap out of you. I mean your constant whining, although incredibly annoying, is at the end of things, just a reflection on yourself. Totaly irrelevant
