A GREAT TIME INDEED.A party of 18 from whalley went back this year for the carnival which was held two weeks ago. while they where sorting out the fancy dress costumes it transpired another group from blackburn were going as well. I had the chance to go but had a summons to appear(as a witness) at a hearing in london. it was cancelled at the last minute :angry2: and i have had to make do with tales of how much better it was this year.

they went as a cricketers and engaged the locals in a game of cricket on the river bank, they even got invited to take part in the official parade.I made do with a four pack of sainsburys cologne style lager and home made pigs knuckle and mash.

One of my favorite away trips ever. Met a lot of new people who i am still in regular contact with now.

Actually I'm going to Barcelona with one of them next month :)

Gutted. Bolton, Spurs and Everton all win, even Aberdeen managed a creditable draw :angry:

Was so looking forward to more Euro trips this season........

Its amazing that we dont get more than 10 fans following the team on Pre-Season. It not European football but it gives the fans a chance to see the team overseas, drink plenty of beer, and generally have a laugh amongst other fans.

Ricky - I knew you well before Leverksen.
