Paul Posted February 27, 2007 Author Posted February 27, 2007 Thought I'd better drag this up, not that the title has much relevance at present. On February 25th 2006 we had played 27 and had 43 points, sitting in 5th place, two points clear of Arsenal and three behind Spurs. Today we're 10th after 28 games on 37 points. So we've effectively "lost" 9 points over this time last year. Those nine points would put us 6th. Still we're catching Spurs, only two point behind them!!! As for the cups we'd just been dumped out of the LGCP and FA cups at the end of January by Utd and WHAM. 25th February 2006 we beat Arsenal 1-0 in front of 22504.
joey_big_nose Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 25th February 2006 we beat Arsenal 1-0 in front of 22504. Great game that, fantastic peice of skill by Bellamy to beat the Arsenal defender and square for the Ped who unfortunately injured himself sliding the ball home. Where would we be now if Savage and Reid were fit? Ho hum.
Nayef Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 And on the 28th February 2007, we beat Arsenal 3-1 in front of 21,503. Exactly 1,001 less than last year.
Fife Rover Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 And on the 28th February 2007, we beat Arsenal 3-1 in front of 21,503. Exactly 1,001 less than last year. Oops.

Ozz Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 A win this weekend for Rovers could very possibly see us 8th, but just 3 points of Horwich in 5th. They play Man Utd, Everton play Arsenal, Reading play Pompey, and Spurs play Watford.
