Jordan Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 I know mate, I have had tickets printed on the match day at an away ground as well. That's why I found it really surprising. Apparently I could have had them done at Arsenal's end yesterday but today they aren't doing any more. I tried to argue but she was pretty adament. I know, I don't understand either. Very disapointed. It maybe worth another quick call to the ticket office tomorrow or alternativly try and get in touch with the Ewood Blues to see whether they have any spare tickets - I doubt it though. Superstella may be able to help you with that one.

tcj_jones Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 Cheers man I might try calling again tomorrow, but I've already phoned twice... Thanks for the advice. I'll PM Superstella. Thankyou.
Roar of the Rover Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 An easy win for Arsenal, Rovers just don't seem to win games like these at the moment, they will play us off the park, easy 3-0, Cesc. Adebayour and Van Persie
Jordan Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 I hate these early starts. If they call this game off due to the fog I will not be a happy Orvil. SSN are reporting big problems for the arse at the back. See you all in yhr Drayton.
cn174 Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 Just about to set off for the game. 2-1 to Rovers
Bobby G Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 Im thinking we are definitely going 4-5-1 with Todd retaining his place in defence and a midfield of Emerton - Tugay - Savage - Pedersen - Bentley and Nonda up front on his own. Do we have any other realistic possibilities?
RoyRover Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 We have a chance for sure, Arsenal have been far from convincing this season, especially at home. But knowing our luck, we'll be the team that Arsenal kick start their season against. A draw would do me fine.
James No. 7 Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 2-1 to the Arsenal. You heard it here first.
Lathund Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 Is it on foreign tele? It's on Canal+ Mix in Scandinavia.
northernrover Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 what pubs will be showing it?? i need to get there now
budha Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 Friedel, Neill, Ooijer, Todd, Gray, Emerton, Tugay, Savage, Pedersen, Bentley, Nonda. Subs: Brown, Mokoena, Henchoz, Derbyshire, Peter. So, Nonda alone upfront.
rover6 Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 So, Nonda alone upfront. I think the idea is for Bentley to keep him company.
todd_could_take_tyson Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 I think your watching teletext again
1864roverite Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 That early penalty score might just come back to haunt us. How I wish it had been the 90th minute But, as it is I would take it now. Come on Rovers
budha Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 Arsenal will definitely come to us even stronger now, hopefully we can take it and perhaps hit another on break
1864roverite Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 i suppose another positive thing about this early Rovers goal is that we cant get beaten 3-0 like the other Arsenal wins this season
