Ozz Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 Are they laying on the free cocaine in the bogs at half time again?

ABBEY Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 My dad and I were interested, until we found out it's £30 a ticket. No chance of that happening I'm afraid. As for a prediction, well I'd be happy with a point today. me too they can shove their ticket hike right up their pie crusts...grabbing gits ,we paid 25? last year
philipl Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 Ooijer completely out. Todd and Tugay drop to the bench. Zurab and Henchoz are the CB pair and the Axe starts. Not going to be a game for the purists is it?
Bobby G Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 To be honest Im baffled by the changes. First off, is Ooijer injured? Secondly, why drop Todd if he has looked steady? Then, Gallagher on instead of Derbyshire on the bench even though the latter has looked good coming off the bench. The only logical explanation is we had some niggling injuries otherwise, its inexplicable.

Can't understand the Derbyshire move though. He's looked relatively promising when given a chance. Gallagher has continued to fail to impress. Very strange.
herbergeehh Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 Strange. Maybe someone broke their curfew last night? Especially disappointed to see Derbyshire totally out - Todd and Ooijer aren't that superior to Henchoz and Zura to be honest. The resting of Tugay isn't that surprising given the amount of games he's played the last two weeks - at least he's on the bench, he usually comes on to change the game 2nd half. As said above, the subs bench is the most surprising part - and maybe the exclusion of Todd, who's arguably in need of match practice. That might be in Sparky's head too though, the three players who comes in can only be better from playing.
T4E Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 Derbyshire IS on the bench - Grooby nobbed it up. http://www.rovers.premiumtv.co.uk/page/New...~949223,00.html
philipl Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 It only needs one hefty knock to be pretty debilitating 48 hours after receiving it. Even though Derbyshire wasn't on that long, you cannot say the Boro defence were exactly hanging back in handing out the hard stuff (and not talking Cat A or Scotch). Derb's game is very reliant on pace so if Hughes had a doubt, he's made the right decision even if he is only 10% off.
AxesFirstTouch Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 effin Mokoena starting! Takes the ######!
roversmum Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 The side doesn't fill me with confidence (especially at £30 a throw ); but trust Sparky knows what he is doing. Anyone know who the ref is?
Fife Rover Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 M Clattenburg Well he is certainly one of the better one's. Things could be a lot worse.

stuwilky Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 According to Soccernet, McEveley is on the bench rather than Derbyshire. Lee put that originally, but has 'corrected' it.
AxesFirstTouch Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 Rovers currently playing hoofball particularly Judas... the Axe looks poor
Fife Rover Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 Just reading the Minute by Minute report on the official site and it seems that Rovers have not bothered to turn up today. All Wigan in the first 20 mins.
AxesFirstTouch Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 Cotterill is all over Judas, yellow card for Judas.
Dan Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 good run from Benni, good pass to Nonda should have scored.maybe. On another Note, how did the 'axe' ever become a professional footballer? He touch is awful!
AxesFirstTouch Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 Mokoena is just awful! losing the ball, cant control it. The reason rovers are going hoofball is because the Axe will just lose it in midfield.
Al Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 What's the pitch like? Is it fit to put Tugay on in the second half?
