cn_barlow Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 Chuffed for him...he deseves it after his performances recently. Hopefully the first of many!!
Hasta Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 Great bit of radio commentary, as the boos for our apparantly scum of the earth, wantaway, non-trying liability of a captain turn to cheers as his delightful cross is tapped home.
American Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 That's been happening, but no one cares that he's creating goals, he is Judas. I refuse to get excited over any of our youngsters after the last 2 I was excited about were Stead and Gally.
cn_barlow Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 Neill performances have been strange recently...his defending has been woeful at times like he just cant be arsed but his attacking play has been first class!!
Manchester Blue Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 So is Derbyshire on the bench then? On a serious note sounds like Niemi has suffered a bad injury so hope it isn't as bad as it seems.
T4E Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 That's been happening, but no one cares that he's creating goals, he is Judas. I care that he's been giving away penalties (2 in the last 4 games) and bookings (3 in the last 4 games). He's a defender, he has to do that job well before we can congratulate him for anything else. Anyway, its a good day, not one to spoil with talk of that plonker. Good stuff Derbs! Top half here we come.
Fife Rover Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 Credit to Mark Clattenberg! After Derbs scored he ran off the pitch in his excitement at his first goal for Rovers in the Prem. Should be an automatic yellow, but Clattenberg just whispered in his ear and left it at that. Why cant they all be this sensible?
Tango Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 You might want to re-read his post. Particularly the bit "on a serious note".
Esulx Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 Derbyshire was on the bench but replaced Nonda at half-time. Niemi's injury sounds really bad. Full weight of his body landing on his head after falling after collecting a catch. His neck buckled under the weight. Nasty!!
Manchester Blue Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 Derbyshire was on the bench but replaced Derbyshire at half-time. Thanks for clearing that up!!!
stuwilky Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 Anyway, its a good day, not one to spoil with talk of that plonker. Good stuff Derbs! Top half here we come. Not today, if results stay as they are.
West Sussex Rover Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 Now 5 bookings compared to Wigans, erm... none?!
modes98 Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 I was excited about were Stead and Gally. No shame in that, both looked the part. Derbs has been getting in the positions to score goals regularly but he just couldn't finish any of them, hopefully now he has 1 this will calm him down and he can concentrate on making the decision to leave him on the bench a more difficult one.
yellowsubmarine Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 Now 5 bookings compared to Wigans, erm... none?! Softies.
Al Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 Just read that Bently got booked for diving. Misses Arsenal match. Not good for two reasons. I deplore diving.
