I watched a bit of a telly program last night about Heather Mills, and finally worked out what two main features Macca saw in her... :o

Whilst I'm here, does anybody else remember an episode of The A Team, where the looney (can I say that?) one was locked up in jail, and all day long he just screamed really loud "I want a Trashhh baggg!!!!", until the guards brought him a bin liner. he did this about 20 or 30 times, and then somehow got hold of a hair dryer, inflated all his bin bags with hot air, attached them to his cell chair and floated off in to the air and escaped from the prison.

Or did I dream that one

No you did't dream it, I think it was Murdoch who did that, although I can't remeber much else about the episode

Something from the past I stumbled across tonight as I was going through the Sky channels, on Film 24 channel they were showing an episode of the tv series The Master which starred Lee Van Cleef as a ninja, it was from the early 80's when all things ninja were cool.

Van Cleef and his young sidekick travel around America helping people out, a bit like a 2 man A Team, another episode on next week but I think only 7 or 8 episodes were made as it was axed after first series.

Don't get to watch much TV as my fat Christian housemate parks her arse and watches E4 all day. That is a crap channel. All it shows are 5th rate US 'comedies', crappy teen shows (e.g. Hollyoaks, Skins) and endless repeats of Friends. Should be renamed as US4. BBC 3 is of a similar quality. She gets in a right sulk if I want to change channel.

So I'm watching the second series of Life on Mars.

Sounds like Kung Fu with David Carradine.

Along same lines, I think it was made to cash in on the Ninja craze at the time, there was also another Ninja in it played by Sho Kosugi, who persues Van Cleefs character to try to kill him because he is a westerner who had learnt the art of Nijitsu.

Snoop is also a reformed gang member - should she be allowed to work, as she was in prison for murder? (Just giving you a hard time, Abs!)

Shame we don´t have a Colin to round up all the recommended shows on this thread like he does on the books thread.

Recently finally got around to watching Life on Mars after all the praise on here and have to say it was excellent. Especially the first series...I don´t think the second series was quite as good although still enjoyable enough.

2nd series had the episode with Camberwick Green in it doesnt it? That makes up for most things.

I think the list consists of

Heroes Series 1 (unless you're BP)

The Wire (all the series')

Dexter

Life on Mars

The Apprentice - its a marmite one

Terminator - The Sarah Connor Chronicles

Firefly

West Wing

House

QI

and many many more. People what have I missed?
