Presty On Tour Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 Watched SummerSlam last night and fairplay wrestling has gone downhill since they made it PG rated. Seriously running out of decent story lines and the wrestlers are the worst crop ever. Anyway during the title match, a drunk fan ran into the ring and tried taking the ref out with some kind of submission move. It was not in the script or staged and security dragged him out. With the wrestlers and ref thinking WTF and a little shaken, they ended the match 10 seconds later just to get out of there!

Biddy Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 Watched SummerSlam last night and fairplay wrestling has gone downhill since they made it PG rated. Hmmm. As they say, everything is scripted (from a wrestling site):- "As it turns out, the man who attacked referee Scott Armstrong during the WWE Championship match between Randy Orton and John Cena before being dragged out by personnel was not a fan. The individual in question is WWE developmental wrestler Brett DiBiase. DiBiase is the 21-year-old son of wrestling legend "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase. and brother of current WWE star Ted DiBiase, Jr. WWE signed the third generation wrestler to a developmental contract at the start of the year." Shocker
adopted scouser Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 Shooting Stars, welcome back lads. "True or false, Fiona Phillips is a witch" George's song and showing sh11tty undies to Christine Bleakley **And my warning level's gone up - Sickipedia ?? Pathetic.

MCMC1875 Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Did anyone watch Derrin Brown predict the lottery last night and get it right? He is going to tell us how he did it on friday aswell Rubbish! - he wouldn't/couldn't show the numbers before the draw. Smoke and mirrors lol!
Cocker Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Rubbish! - he wouldn't/couldn't show the numbers before the draw. Smoke and mirrors lol! I don't believe that Penn and Teller really catch a bullet in their teeth but it still makes me go wow when I see it.
Grabbi Graeme Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 I don't believe that Penn and Teller really catch a bullet in their teeth but it still makes me go wow when I see it. I went to see Penn and Teller when I was in Vegas last year and they end their show with that trick and it does make you go wow.
grizfoot Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Watched the Derren Brown lottery thing last night, somehow they definately changed the balls around after the draw was made. If you look at the video closely enough you can see a black line directly above where the balls are and this short clip below shows one of the balls moving after the draw had been made.
Flopsy Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Second series of Chuck is on Virgin at the moment. A really fun program
American Rover12 Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Second series of Chuck is on Virgin at the moment. A really fun program Big fan of that show. Watched all the episodes, both seasons. Fun is a great word to describe it.
Alan75 Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 hairy bikers tour of britain is best thing on tv at the moment they are the dogs nads lol Not tonight Abbs - cancelled for women football
Tim Southampton Rover Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Watched the Derren Brown lottery thing last night, somehow they definately changed the balls around after the draw was made. If you look at the video closely enough you can see a black line directly above where the balls are and this short clip below shows one of the balls moving after the draw had been made. I'm 100% sure he cannot predict the lottery results but I'll be disappointed if it's just a video overlay on the numbers.
American Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 I'm guessing that if it was something that was a video trick they wouldn't have done it, or at least wouldn't have made a big deal out of revealing how.
sambo Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 Brown's explanation didn't really explain it... Definitely a split screen thing, if you look it up online you will see the evidence.
tony gale's mic Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 Anyone been watching the new series of Peep Show? Last nights was absolutely brilliant, easily the best comedy of the decade IMO.
ABBEY Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 anyone watch FAST FORWARD last night...looks like it could develop to a good show.Hope its not padded and ragged out tho.
Ste B Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 anyone watch FAST FORWARD last night...looks like it could develop to a good show.Hope its not padded and ragged out tho. Looks promising, but could easily become another lost.
Backroom Tom Posted October 2, 2009 Backroom Posted October 2, 2009 Watched some great TV this week Flashforward - Great start to the series, recognised a lot of people in it inclusing a Seth McFarlane cameo, defo will continue watching Charlie Brookers gameswipe - as a huge Charlie brooker fan and a gamer this was a no brainer, love his cutting take on things Peep Show - Tonights was as brilliant as ever, it's amazing that it's still not got stale, it never gets better for poor Mark does it Benidorm - Again a great opener to the series, I've only seen the back end of the last series so need to catch up on earlier eps and the first seroes Also been enjoying Masterchef the professionals nightly on BBC
Rovermatt Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 LOST is ace Lost is indeed ace. I caught the first episode of Flashforward in the US last week. It could be very good. I'd also highly recommend a new comedy called Modern Family which broadcasts on ABC. It stars Ed 'Al Bundy' O'Neill and it's extremely funny.
Presty On Tour Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 My link I'm really not sure about this! Especially after the Boycie spin off they did which was absolute cack. Only Fools and Horses was brilliant and perhaps they should let sleeping dogs lye.
broadsword Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 Anyone see daredevils last night on Channel 4? Made me ill just watching it, I'm scared witless by heights. http://www.channel4.com/programmes/daredevils/episode-guide/series-1/episode-2
