People about the same age as me might like or may have enjoyed the BBC4 drama Micro Men, a film about Clive Sinclair and Chris Curry, and the battle for the home computer market in the early 80s. It was on last night, but knowing BBC4 it will probably be on a few more times yet. Also on the i-Player now.

Friday night has finally got a nice look to it on telly.

9.00~10.00pm BENIDORM ITV1

10.00~10.30pm Peep Show (Sky Plus QI on BBC2)

10.30~11.00pm IT Crowd (Repeats, if seen already watch QI from earlier)

11.00 Bed!

This is shameless advertising on behalf of the site, but Heroes (which is one of US TV shows I've enjoyed most over the last few years) Season 3 is out today and Play.com are doing some special deals on the DVD boxsets for affiliates like us. A little click of This Link is all you need for more info. It's £14 off a special play.com edition (which includes art-cards), today only (and extra commission for the site).

And remember, all the revenue from adverts on the site, goes towards the cost of running the site.

I watch very little of the shows that are on television. I tend to download shows from the U.S which are far more entertaining or are a head of the things that are on tv here. At the moment I'm watching quite a few things:

Trauma

Flash Forward

Modern Family

Curb Your Enthusiasm

Entourage

Californication

Mad Men

I'm also waiting for the new series of Friday Night Lights to start. After living and going to university in America, I find their shows to be of a greater standard and quality of what is made over here. In saying that I still try to catch shows like the Inbetweeners and Graham Norton when I can.

Watched the first part of the new Robbie Coltrane programme Murderland. It had got some good reviews but this first one felt a bit flat. Hopefully the second one will pick up.

I guess what I was looking for was Cracker which i loved.

I watched the 2nd part of this and it wasn't much different to the first one. The story is told from 3 different perspectives - the 1st one was the girls and 2nd one robbie coltrane. I thought it was very average if I'm honest which is disappointing as I was a big fan of Cracker and was hoping for something of similar quality.

Having said all that - I will watch the final part just to see what really happened.

Been watching the repeats of Early Doors on G.O.L.D. for me a very underated comedy, great writing from Craig Cash.

A trific comedy that went completely under the radar. Listen out for the police radio and the call signs (are they called that?) - things like Foxtrot Alpha Romeo Tango

Roy is indeed in a Rovers shirt and so is his pal in it, i'm tempted to get it just to see what the crack is

It's probably one of the Dingle supporting writers taking the proverbial. Maybe the one that decided to call a woman Ronnie Clayton.

Anyone else watching The Ultimate Fighter season 10? I've only recently got around to watching all of these, Rampage is possibly the worst coacher and dumbest person in the world, not that I'd say it to his face of course ;)

Anyone else watch MMA in general?

Worst coach, worst season, worst all around for TUF. and I'm a huge MMA fan, finally got around to watching Dream 12 last night. Excellent. Loved the new white cage.
