Similarly, its the last Ashes To Ashes tonight. BBC1 9.00pm. Can't wait.

The theme of the number 6620 and the seeing stars bit-There is an asteroid belt named 6620 Peregrina. It was first discovered in 1973-the year Life On Mars was set.

Anyone been watching that Idris Elba thing Luther? It's not bad - well acted and nicely atmospheric. How the complex crimes committed are solved in the space of a day is beyond me though.

Seen a few episodes of Luther. Quite entertaining and well acted but completely ridiculous to the point of almost being funny. One of these days we'll have a cop show where the detective plays by the rules rather than being a maverick - 'What solve a murder case? Hang on, with you in 30 minutes after I fill these forms in'.

I watched an old A-Team last night. It was a strange one. The theme tune was all jazzed up and there was an extra member; some Latin looking bloke with long hair. Very strange. It wasn't like the ones I grew up watching. The film comes out next month, I will go and see it.

2 blondes from Bolton on CH4 just blew all their money by deciding United won the champs league final last summer!!:rolleyes:

Not as good as the two blowing all their cash on the first question by picking the three answers that it wasn't.

That would be the last series they made, the producers tried to change it as ratings were falling, The A Team ended up working for a goverment agent played by Robert Vaughn.

I'm looking forward to the film as the original producer Steven J Cannell has been involved in it.

Cheers. The agent was called Hunt Stockwell. I couldn't remember the actor's name.

The classic ones are great, this one was awful.

Not on TV but I have just watched the first two series of Mad Men. I think it is really good. Anyone else seen it?

Set in an advertisement agency in Manhatten in the 1960s, almost nothing big happens in each episode, no cliff hangers or anything like that, but it keeps you watching episode after episode. Just ordered s3 in time for when s4 starts on tv.

Anyone notice the guy wearing the rovers shirt on who is Nelson Mandela? Made my day, shows how widely supported this club is (the man was in a south African football crowd)

Cheap tv at its worse.

Programmes like this are the main reason i don`t watch television much, thank goodness for the world cup!

Picked up the first season of Burn Notice used while back in the states. Enjoyable show.

Still think Breaking Bad is the best thing on TV nowadays. Ending of the most recent episode was epic.

Did anyone watch Going Postal on sky bank holiday weekend? I was away so just caught up, but I thought it was surprisingly good.

Other stuff on my Sky+

Life (FX)

Lie to Me (Sky)

Stargate universe (sky)

usefully they're all coming to the end of their series

Dr Who's been great throughout, I'm really taken, in a purely professional manner, with Matt Smith and I'm rather taken, in a purely lecherous manner, with Karen Gillan
