Eddie Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Good draw. Very winnable game and a lot of other all premiership ties.

pleasure Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 We have been drawn against QPR or Luton away get in. great draw. i'd prefer Luton away, as i've never been there.
Finch Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 is that good? It's not a difficult draw, plus (on a personal note) if it's QPR I can go.
Oakland Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 We have been drawn against QPR or Luton away could be worst, could be better
gumboots Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Presumably you could go to Luton as well as it's not that far. I know it's probably north of Watford but the locals are quite civilised.
West Sussex Rover Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 It's not a difficult draw, plus (on a personal note) if it's QPR I can go. Dito!
Daremz Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Not bad, I think. Not sure of the qualities of both teams, but we must be able to beat them, away from home. Any star players of those teams popping into your minds?
Gav Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Luton would be good, never been there. QPR doesn't do much for me, although I remember Tim Flowers debut away at QPR with 4000 Rovers fans in attendance, great day.
daveoftherovers Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Luton Away I'd Prefer, Even if the Ground is a shed, another chance to see our next manager (IMHO) Either way, I'll take that draw. Who feels hardest done by, Arsenal or W*nky Wanderers?
Jan Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 ONly downside- parking at QPR is a bitch. Have driven past Luton but not sure what the parking is like there. I think both of then about 20 minutes away ISH!
trs Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Yeh luton for me and it's my saturday off, definately going whoever!
T4E Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Luton would be good, never been there. QPR doesn't do much for me, although I remember Tim Flowers debut away at QPR with 4000 Rovers fans in attendance, great day. Not against QPR admittedly but we had a very memorable night game at Loftus Road a couple of years back, fantastic night. Would like Luton, again because I've never been and its not far. Great draw
Finch Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Who feels hardest done by, Arsenal or W*nky Wanderers? I have a co-worker friend who is an avid Gooner. She will hate that she drew them.

theresonly1alj Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 I'm definatly hoping for QPR. My grandad supports them so I can finally have some rivalry with him. Also I'll be able to get to that match pretty easily. A pretty good draw either way really. We should be able to get to the next round fairly easy. See you there.
ihateburnley Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Does anybody know how much the official away travel is likely to be for Luton/QPR away? I have never watched any football south of Cardiff, but I fancy going but I cannot be arsed driving all that way.
Finch Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Not against QPR admittedly but we had a very memorable night game at Loftus Road a couple of years back, fantastic night. Was the the 4-3 against Fulham? Because if so, that's one of my favourite games ever (particularly since we were 2-1 down at half time) Another reason I like going to Loftus Road.
CAPT KAYOS Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 The ties will be played on Friday 26, Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 January. So who do you reckon for the Friday game then Barnet or Colchester v Peterborough or Plymouth Argyle ... anyone?
cn174 Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Does anybody know how much the official away travel is likely to be for Luton/QPR away? I have never watched any football south of Cardiff, but I fancy going but I cannot be arsed driving all that way. London games are normally £22

I have never watched any football south of Cardiff, but I fancy going but I cannot be arsed driving all that way. You should be alright then as Luton is definitely north of Cardiff and QPR might also be.

So who do you reckon for the Friday game then Barnet or Colchester v Peterborough or Plymouth Argyle ... anyone? Good draw for us. My prediction for televised games: Arsenal v Bolton (West Ham v Watford) Chelsea v Nottingham Forest (Birmingham City or Newcastle United v Reading or Burnley) Manchester United v Portsmouth
American Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Not against QPR admittedly but we had a very memorable night game at Loftus Road a couple of years back, fantastic night. Would like Luton, again because I've never been and its not far. Great draw Hmmm, and work might be sending me over to Europe for 3 months starting at around that time. Would be great to have a return trip to Loftus Road...
pleasure Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Not against QPR admittedly but we had a very memorable night game at Loftus Road a couple of years back, fantastic night. we had another a few seasons ago : 4-0, in 'the hakan suker show.' my favourite qpr game was the 1-0 in '95 (thought we had the lge sewn up then...) and recently the 3-1 win in the promotion season. we took our full allocation to both those games, and the upper teir was 'rocking'!
modes98 Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Wouldnt mind an away draw with Queens Park Rangers, i could probably manage to go and watch that No excuses now then Might be tempted by this one myself, but normally we'd either get beaten or play awfully and win 1-0. Hopefully a game we can win and get into the last 16.
