Not 606 again?????

Surely the club are taking the pee wee?

This is just not on.

There will be lots of fans who can easily re-arrange their work arrangements and equally a significant number who cannot.

Changing kick off times at weekends is one thing but during the week? Come on.

If I was one of those who could not make this match because of Kraut TV I would be mightily pee weed off.

Get it sorted Mr Williams

I think it's a great gesture by the club. They are covering their backs. If a fan can't get there for free then the tv money will cover it. Unfortunately TV money calls the shots these days. It may be 6pm in the UK but 7pm in Europe and that's where Eurosport make their money. I will be in my local in Spain watching it, just wish I could be at the ground :(:(

I can't believe the whingers on here! No wait I've been on here for a few years now so really I can believe em. Pathetic!

Free tickets at 6.00pm. Whats the problem? The match in Krakow was an hour or so earlier and there were plenty of locals there. This happens so rarely that I'd wager most could easily get off work early.

I bet this is the first time that ANY club in Europe never mind England has given away free admission to an important game and yet we have moaners moaning for all they are worth.

They do not deserve a team and set up like BRFC....... full bloody stop.

One thing it'll certainly provide pointers and test the mettle of our possible support 'potential' within the town. ;)

Don't disagree with the sentiment of your post Gord but not this bit - it's 15 quid for walk ons (isn't it?) with the bonus of kids for a quid admittedly - so I'd be amazed to see lots of non ST holders. Sad I know. How many home fans did we get for the Middlesbrough game - 19k ish? Same for this one I reckon.

Free tickets - big plus, silly KO - small minus.

If you really want to go that badly you will take the day/afternoon off work but I suspect the moaners are the ones who hate the prospect of missing out on a freebie but had no intention of going when they thought they had to pay.

The club is doing all it can, are you?

This is a pain in the arse. Oh well going to have to take sometime off work. Think I might book a dentist appointment for 4.45. Lol. My work wont buy it, ill have to take time off. An that means ill be pusing it with the number of days I have to go to all our UEFA away days. This better be a one off Rovers. Cant be doing with paying all the costs of travelling to an away day when I might not be able to go to the home games cause I have to take days off that I dont have. Lets hope Spurs and Newcastle get knocked out soon ehh.

its that easy is it to get an afternoon off work is it? tell you what oscar you tell my gafer for me then will you or make sure there are no big telephone cables ripped thru for me that afternoon.Dony give a fig about missing out on freebies id pay not arsed about that, but a teatime k.o. is crap midweek and it WILL affect the crowd.I will just about make it and i mean just ,one jam on the 58 ,6 ,65 or around ewood and i wont. Its not a case of just winging ,its about the kick off time ,spanish blue tbh i dont give a crap about what time it is in europe,ITS TEATIME IN BLACKBURN.....YOU KNOW RUSH HOUR AND ALL THAT.BUSY AS HELL.

Did I REALLY see someone saying that £15 for walk-ons was too much? That's pathetic.

MIGHT NOT BE A LOT FOR YOU BUT FOR OTHERS IT WILL BE...

Well, you'll just have to miss kick off won't you? As it's free it shouldn't be that much of a hardship. Also you can listen to Radio Rovers from about 10 miles out so you won't miss the action (dare say 5 live will have a mention too).

Regularly miss kick-off. No big deal. Rather have the TV money.

I am a season ticket holder, i will be trying to finish early hence losing pay, i would have rather paid and had the usual kick off time. As a result of the move in time 2 maybe 3 of the (paying) people that i have encouraged to attend european games recently cannot attend already, when they where planning to. It is disappointing.

I can't see there being a huge crowd for this due to the early kick off time. The free tickets only apply to 12,000 season ticket holders and the walk on prices aren't a huge incentive unless you're taking along a few juniors which at a quid each is obviously excellent.

I've no strong views on this either way really, Leverkusen would obviously want the match screened live back home and the Club obviously decided they wanted the live German TV money no matter what and that was that. It does smack to me though of our usual policy of pandering to the whims of the away club and hang any inconvenience to our own supporters. There will undoubtedly be a lot of fans who can't make the earlier time and it becomes irrelevant then then whether tickets are free or 50 quid, you just end up with a section of disgruntled home support.

Perhaps we've had too much European football lately...........

Come on, guys, it doesn't happen every week, or even every year! "Where there's a will, there's a way" as Granny used to say.

Quit the moaning, get yourselves to Ewood and let's make it a night to remember for all the right reasons!
